  1. He was entitled to keep the shares, there was no obligation on him to sell.Don't think Lowe was prepared to sell, rather than others being unable to afford them.
  2. Interesting prospect. But who do you think Leon would make such an offer to,the current board,or to Barclays ? Is it likely that Barclays would co-operate with Crouch,a shareholder, without agreement from the board (in the same way as questions were raised earlier about RL speaking to the bank in November 2007) ?
  3. A,without a doubt. That was the appointment that set in motion an irretrievable decline. The Sturrock/Hoddle selection was also a watershed in our history, and in hindsight I believe the wrong choice.Having appointed Luggy,he should have been backed by the board IMO.
  4. "No one's ruled out,no one is ruled in.." This epitomised Lowe up for me.The comment smacked of blustering and arrogance, whilst in truth Lowe was floundering and clueless as to what to do or who to appoint, hence we ended with non-appointments of Gray and Wigley for too long.
  5. I don't think either will leave willingly,or be forced out simply because there is no strong unified group to oust them.As food for thought would we be any bettter off if Wilde decided to realign with Crouch ? It is interesting to draw comparisons with the Wigley fiasco though, and I have been wondering for a week or so now, which way can Lowe now turn ? And lets remember any change must be done with the prime concern that Rupert can do it without losing face. Just as with Wigley,Rupert has made an appointment (in JP) which is starting to look risky. Both appointments were made with a bit of a fanfare in heralding something new,and even revolutionary. With 'wartface',it was giving an up and coming coach a chance as 'head coach' etc.It was a ridiculous gamble and obvious that wartface was simply never going to be up to the job.We now have the "revolutionary coaching set up ",with two Dutch blokes.I actually think this as a strategy is something which might work....but it was put in place at the wrong time. Trouble is after Lowe publicly nails his colours to a mast he is forced to leave it running too long before making a change. Lowe has tried different strategies. We have had: a)The up and coming young managers ie Jones and Sturrock. b)The rehabilitation of fallen names ie Hoddle,Burley and Redkrapp. But who is out there now that is affordable within this category ? c)Promoting from within, disaster twice ie Gray, and Wigley.Rupert could not try this again with Hockaday could he ? d)The continental approach with the youth team. WGS was a succesful RL appointment so if Rupert is "thinking Scottish" then maybe Davies will be on Ruperts radar, assuming we can afford to pay compensation to the Krankies. Summary :I think there is more likely to be change at the club by Lowe, than Lowe leaving.Sorry.
  6. Yes,lol at the skates for that, and the knobheads who consider Martin Jol,and Slaven Bilic might remotely be interested in leaving their current and more prestigious posts fot Nottarf Krap. But sadly it also reminds me of an even bigger "lol",at a former chairman of ours who said Saints were a bigger club than Tottenham. What a complete and utter spastic that chairman was...let's all "lol" at him once more.
  7. I've always thought Peter Storrie looked and sounded like a dodgy car dealer. If that happens it will show how Storrie must like working alongside managers with a reputation for doing deals in a certain way. Can't think why it should be so attractive to him... I suspect Avram Grant might show up there as he was previously linked with a return as DoF.
  8. Or before the effects of your owner telling him to curb the spending, and start selling to balance the books.
  9. Hardly managed the "we" during his time with us though, which emphasises yet again what a tragic mismarriage of convenience Lowe and Redkrapp were. Sorry, that perhaps is too main board.
  10. " big challenge,f'sure..". Where have I heard that before ?
  11. We might find out soon. Hadn't considered the prospect of Harry taking Tony Adams with him ,that would **** the yids faithful off.
  12. £5M Compensation...
  13. ...but he is making it sound that he went almost unwillingly, because the skates accepted a large sum of money... 'Arry on live now
  14. ..and Campbell !
  15. Perhaps Harry will now sign Sol for them. Or will Harry cosy up to the beastly yobs who he was critiscising a couple of weeks ago for their filthy abuse of Campbell ?
  16. Thought Harry had been an Arsenal fan as a kid.
  17. Ramos gone. 'arry leaving his spiritual home. On SSN.
  18. But Lowe has b0llocksed both the football, and the business.
  19. Agree. That evil bastard will serve no purpose during the rest of his life.Although some form of more appropriate 'punishment' might come his way in prison,I object to the cost of keeping him breathing, and 'protected' for 'his own good' whilst in prison.
  20. I have heard - from an impeccable source - that the money is definitely in place, although not sure if its from Canada,USA,or middle east. The problem now is that it cant be released yet due to a minor technicality*. *Barry has lost the key to his briefcase.
  21. or "lawrie,lawrie,lawrie,lawriieeeeeeee..."
  22. Come on you red and white MACHINES...
  23. How does a "jobless mum of three" afford cigarettes ? Especially to give them to one of her kids. ..presumably at more expense to the taxpayer ?
  24. He'd still be a vast improvement on those available to us at the moment though...and will score c.25 goals this season.
  25. How did Skacel play ?
