  1. BBC saying he's a goner.
  2. Conratulations on the first Jackson joke... and we don't even know if he's dead yet.
  3. A much misunderstood and much maligned man. Just like O.J Simpson and Jeremy Thorpe really.
  4. One of my first thoughts also.
  5. So he won't be buying us then.
  6. I think I'll post on here before its locked.
  7. Have you stopped to wonder how cordial that transaction is down the road, as it is an arab buying the club off of a jew (or at least the son of a money laundering Russian jew)? Strange how they put such issues aside.
  8. Voted "no" yesterday, and todays non-developments have vindicated that view. Hope we still have a club tomorrow.Beyond caring if its Pinnacle or the Swiss.
  9. Thoroughly knobbed off with it all to be honest. Ten years ago we were a top fight club who were respecteed for punching above our weight.Six years ago things looked up after a cup final and decent stadium.2004 onwards the b^stard Lowe sent us into freefall, and with the asistance of Wilde-and to a lesser extent Crouch - we have been spiralling downwards since. A week ago we had the hope of KK;now we fear for the club's existance.A week of Tony's updates but no progress. We speculated on the buyer and now he is in the open he cannot even promise the safety of the clubs future. Part of me wants to say "B0LL0CKS,I've spent enough on this over the last 40years,time to let go".But my kids want and deserve to follow a club like SFC and all that it once stood for. I have hoiped Pinnacle would be the answer, but tonight feel that behind the masquerade they are unlikely to be. Time for the Swiss perhaps, or maybe time for me to follow my village team locally.League football has a bitter and sickening taste.
  10. I think we would all be happy with that frankly. We all await it being put into motion and a constructive announcement rather than the "the FL are so unfair, and they will soon see the error of their ways, before retracting and enabling us to move the club forward.." updates.
  11. Or possibly on the verge of the deals collapse, and total oblivion. but I sincerely hope you are right.
  12. Lucy Pinnacle
  13. It wasn't me either,I'm just his mate, He told me to stand here and watch the gate... The takeover is descending into utter madness.
  14. They are not Jackson. Nor are they rumoured to want to employ a scouse ignoramus such as Reid. Two positives in my book.
  15. Pinnacle,Pinnacle ... to the nth factorial...
  16. Inclined to agree. And if 'monkey head' Reid is the best Jacko can offer then it does not bode well.I'd rather retain Wotte.
  17. That bit tacked on the end could of course be critical. I hope it is something minor, but on the other hand it could be something more fundamental ie restructuring the payments etc which may not be acceptable the the creditors.
  18. I still cannot believe Pinnacle would have come this far without factoring in the possibility that the 10pt deduction was likely to apply.Even in the event of an appeal it might still have been upheld.
  19. A question I raised yesterday, and yet to be answered, would there be grounds to sue those in control of the club at the time of the 10 point announcement for not lodging the appeal within the time limit imposed by FL rules. Is it possible that either the 'board' at the time - whoever it was - and/or the Administrators have been negligent in their duties by not setting the appeal in motion ?
  20. Skate hate is alive and well in my part of Gloucestershire.
  21. So would I but don't hold your breath.
  22. If that alone is the outcome, then do we really have reason to complain ?
  23. If at all true - and I doubt it is - then it might indicate that Crouch is/will be in a position of influence.
  24. I really cannot believe that Pinnacle were only intent on buying the club without the -10 points. It has been well known for that the deduction might apply, even after an appeal. The CVA issue remains of concern though and how the FL interpret this.
  25. In what sense ? Perhaps you are thinking along similar lines to me that the appeal should have been lodged immediately. Now,if the appeal has not been lodged, and we are now time barred from appealing it raises an interesting question in my mind.Have the remaining directors , or administrators even, failed in their fiduciary duties, and is there possibly recourse against them ? In the case of the administrators,I doubt it since we all know they were only dealing with the assets of SLH and not the SFC itself.
