Sacked from Reading towards the end of last season. So, he’s available! No thanks.
-
Have heard same from two I know, although they did add that he'd been restricted in the transfer market in January by their Board.
-
Sports Republic certainly seem to like Ligue 2 status.

Agree about the name. But more 1960’s ring to it for me, a sort of hybrid of two of the Great Train Robbers.

Remember the ‘we are evil …. ‘ chant. -
This is how I saw him, does some of the pretty stuff from time to time, but no real presence or aggression. Sort of player that goes missing easily But probably an upgrade on Ely, not that that’s the standard we should be setting
-
Stoke supporter I know says he had some good games, but their purple patch and run of form was largely due to another midfielder on loan, Ben Pearson from Bournemouth. Pearson sounded like an ideal DM for the Championship. Probably surplus at AFCB but as he’s about 27 we probably won’t consider him. And if AFCB do sell it would probably be £1.5m to Stoke or£5m to us.

What has become of Hat Kunt ? Haven’t seen him whilst ‘minor celebrity’ spotting before games over the last season or so. -

Couldn’t it ? I rest my case … -
Strangely I think the design lends itself to a decent change kit, in yellow/blue or sky/navy but it appears half pink in the old home kit (Danish away kit).
-
Do we still have a pre-season match v Eastleigh?
-
How would that work and when would we get to wear the second one if the first clashes with the home side ?
-
Bit of polarised opinion on that one then.
-
"Friendly"... using the term loosely...
-
Fine providing Leicester or Leeds don't make a move to take him, if he is our main choice.
-
Good points on both. Perhaps Wilcox and Rasmus are conferring with Paul Doswell before deciding
-
I thought that’s what the appointment of RM was about. Why are you hoping for Maresca ?
-
Keegan era, Rank Xerox design. Preferably no ads of course.
-
Reminds me of the promotion kit, Only with a full striped back though. If it doesn’t have stripes on the back then I’d drop stripes altogether. On the sleeve debate, down to personal choice but my recollection is: White sleeves - associated with promotion in 2012 and 1978 (in the Admiral kit) Red sleeves - relegation in 2005.

Surman comes across well usually, although doesn’t really add to much new here. Shame he isn’t the summariser for Solent more often.
-
Maresca looks to out perform Martin on the ‘Pep rating’ part of the matrix. On the bald head and beard anyway. Perhaps this is now part of the ‘photo-fit’ or clone manager we’re after.
-
I have wondered the same about Maresca and the timing of all this. His only time in the ‘top job’ though was at Parma and he was sacked. Always worry if it’s the old story of excellent assistant but not cutting it as manager or head coach (Brian Kidd syndrome).
-
Looked up Gozpte’s progress earlier. This is their play off match. Possibly coincidence or a one off, but from this it appears they might like playing a possession game. And they lost. The Rasmusblueprint# ?

Pure red and white halves wouldn’t be so bad, but not the Denmark pyjama kit (red and pink).
