To Branfoot’s credit though I think he handled the abuse well. He always faced up to it, and continued to walk the touchline to the dugouts. By comparison, I recall Chris Nicholl started to watch the first half from the Directors Box when he was facing flak (especially after the dispute with Mark Dennis). He’d then come to the touch line 10-15 minutes into the second half, almost hoping no one would notice. Fortunately for him he did turn things round and his popularity improved.

Yes, I remember that but it was a fanzine headline, it certainly wouldn't bring any sanctions against the club though would it ?(being kicked out the league as you mentioned). Lets face it, Millwall are still in the league despite pitch invasions, and threats to life over a few decades.
