  1. Making our own rules up now are we? You might not like it, but he was offside. Last season he wouldn’t have been, but because there was such a song and dance about handballs the handball law was changed. This is one of the unintended consequences of that rule change.
  2. Offside is a line decision, line decisions in cricket aren’t umpires call.
  3. Bit like Gina Miller then.
  4. They changed the handball rule because of constant complaints, so now the upper arm to where a short sleeve ends isn’t handball. The knock on effect of this is you can now score with your upper arm sleeve, therefore that part of your arm can be called offside. The basic thing people can’t seem to get their head round is offside isn’t subjective. It’s a fact, you’re either onside or off. There’s no “clear & obvious”,no benefit of the doubt. It’s one reason I didn’t think VAR was a good idea, and nothing that’s happened since has made me change my mind.
  5. Don’t talk pony. You can still be sent off.
  6. You’d be the first moaning if a legitimate goal was ruled out by an early flag. You’re as bad as the plums on BT banging on about it. VAR can’t just be used for correcting Lino’s that have missed an offside, it also corrects decisions where the Lino thinks it’s offside ( for example Gabbi at Wembley ), how do you propose it does that without playing on?
  7. No , I’ll cry about it for years, call you all thick twats, and wallow in pious righteousness.
  8. We’ve watched some right wankers the past few years, good players but wankers. This bunch are a credit to the club & deserve every piece of praise they’ve received lately. JWP finally looks a proper player, Vestergaard & Adams have both shown a fantastic attitude to turn their Saints careers around & Theo seems to love being back at the club. Jack Stephens deserves a mention, rough patch of form and out of position, but he did ok. Everyone at least 8/10 tonight.....
  9. Who the US president is has never made a blind bit of difference to my life, including when I was resident out there. The only difference this one will make is slightly spoiling my hobby of laughing at lefties. Still plenty of opportunities ahead with Brexit finally approaching, and I’m sure Biden will give us plenty of laughs.
  10. Not me, I only know what Biden told us. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MA8a2g6tTp0
  11. Agreed. Even a 119 year old who had been dead since 1984 voted. That’s dedication for you.
  12. He’s behaving exactly as millions of lefties & pinkos did last time. Needs to man up. Let’s hope it he gets over it quicker than they did.
  13. What a load of pony.
  14. Why were hospital staff at the snap dragons hospital issued with a 3 page email detailing how to wear masks properly and how to dispose of them. It was stated that continued touching of mask & continued pulling it on and off would be worse for you general health, than not wearing one. It also clearly stated that anyone not disposing of masks correctly, would be increasing the risk of infecting their colleagues. This wasn’t just clinical staff, but everyone. Do you think the general public wear & dispose of masks correctly? And if not, surely that’s worse for their general health & increasing the risk of infecting others?
  15. It’s strange that there seems to be a correlation between those who voted remain & the stay at home wankers who pretend to care for the working man, but don’t really give a fuck.
  16. Without Rickie, Ings wouldn’t be playing for us. We’d still be in championship. It’s not always about the best players, Ings is clearly a better top flight player, but rickie was the better signing. I heard Lawrie say Peter Osgood was his best signing because the message it sent out. Same with signing Rickie. Top top signing at that time and we never looked back.
  17. Looks like Nige is back to scare some backbone into backbench Tories.
  18. Absolutely spot on.
  19. Driving kills people. Smoking kills people. Drinking kills people.
  20. Well I wouldn’t start from here. Every single year, NICE make decisions on whether life saving/changing drugs are affordable, whether they are value for money. They make a calculation based on years of life saved against cost to the taxpayer. It’s why parents take their kids to America & it’s why my sister in law was denied a drug that would have prolonged her life. NICE decided the drug was too expensive to be paid for by the taxpayer, so she was denied a couple of years of life. How many years of life are being saved by these lockdown , against the misery, death & poverty they’ll cause long term? A heartless comment, maybe, but I repeat, NICE do this every single year. If health trumped everything else, why are schools remaining open? The Government are basically agreeing with me. They’ve calculated that education is more important than absolute health protection. I think the economy is just as important. The response today is not proportionate to the threat. It’s inconceivable that previous generations would have behaved like this.
  21. “Unlikely“!!! They’re screwed, a Tory Government has screwed them. My mate makes his money June-Aug, then Dec. He ticks over the remaining months. He had a great pub, totally viable, but all his profit is in a few months. Live music, place is hopping weekends and now it’s like a fucking restaurant. He hasn’t even had a lock in for 3 weeks.
  22. You can bet your life the teaching unions will be whining like fuck if the schools are staying open.
  23. What a load of old pony. “Certain” scientific advice recommended that, mainly from the same people who have constantly been wrong and who keep changing their advice anyway (care homes, masks). What happens after this “short circuit break”, would the virus have gone, never to return? What is a farce is the complete and utter lack of any leadership or anyone making decisions or telling the British people straight. Cheered on by middle class work from home wankers, who won’t suffer too much hardship, it’s government by focus groups & opinion polls.
  24. Looks like some posters have a problem with chicks being rich & fit. Good luck to her, she deserves every penny she earns and can spend it how she wants.
  25. Why? Other European nations thrive and they don’t have 92 professional clubs.
