I shall be raising a glass to the people that made it happen, the people who ensured this glorious day happened. Gina Miller, who ensured Theresa May’s BRINO was subject to a meaningful vote and couldn’t bypass parliament. John Bercow for showing us voters in a clear and precise way how the establishment were trying to ignore the people. For Dominic Grievence, Rory Stewart, Ken Clarke, Fatty Soames, Gauke, Hammond & the other “rebels”, for allowing Boris to unite the party and make it electable, by kicking their sorry arses out. But finally, the really special person, without who we’d still be stuck with a Tory government with a majority of -42. Still stuck with a remain parliament deluding themselves that the people had changed their minds. Still stuck hearing cries for a second referendum. The one & only Jo Swinson. Because her decision to back a GE is the only reason it’s happening. Heroes to the Brexit movement , I salute you all..... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

“Government is failing to honour centuries-old convention by blocking my peerage.” John Bercow in tomorrow’s Times ‘I am not in the business of invoking precedent, nor am I under any obligation to do so. If we were guided only by precedent, nothing would ever change.’ John Bercow during Brexit debate prior to election. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Britain's Next Top Prime Minister - Labour Leadership Election 2020.
Lord Duckhunter replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Like Stewart & that chump Gyimah did for the tories, she only stood as a publicity stunt. Absolutely no substance to her at all. Not that the others have much. They’re no marks. When you look at the leadership election James Callaghan won and compare the standing of the candidates you can see just how far the party has fallen. Benn, Healy, foot, Anthony Crossland, Jenkins & Callaghan himself. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Diana got a lot better treatment in the press than Fergie. They were both putting it about, but Fergie got it worse. Maybe the press were gingerist. Martin Luther King Jnr longed for the day when people were judged by the content of their character and not the colour of their skin. Some of us are there, whereas some (mainly woke lefties) aren’t. The truth of the matter is she gets stick because she’s an awful women, Lenny Henry gets stick because he’s thinks he’s funny and is clearly not, Diane Abbott gets stick because she’s stupid and racist, and Garth Crooks gets stick because he’s hopeless at his job, I couldn’t give a shiny **** what colour their skin is and nor could 95% of normal people. The only people who are bothered about their skin colour are racists and woke lefties, and there’s a hell of a lot more woke lefties in this country.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

God, you’ve got another obsession to rank alongside Katie Hopkins & Tommy Robinson (not his real name). Fox was spot on, it’s got **** all to do with racism and everything to do with her being a hypercritical woke half wit. There was racist language used in the programme, by the dopey leftie bird in the audience. She was judging Fox by the colour of his skin, not the content of his character, and was therefore racist. Of course, you won’t call that out, because you don’t really care whether people are judged by their colour if they are white. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Soggy doesn’t like universal credit because he’s Mrs had issues with it, and doesn’t like student finance because it costs his kids money. Very principled. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

That’s the legacy of pinkos wanting 50% of kids to go to uni. When I was at school the elite (as in brightest) went to uni & it was free. Uni has now been watered down, with polys now called university & every Tom, **** and Harriet going. Being a soft arsed leftie I’ve no doubt you supported this change. Your kids “debt” is the legacy....... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I was right in line with it in the Kingsland and it was a stonewall pen. Shocking the ref didn’t give it, everybody sat round me knew it would be overturned. Nothing to do with the size of the team, it was a pen. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So let’s get this right. Wanting my retirement under a labour Government is displaying an “I’m alright jack” attitude. Your post also implies that such an outcome will be bad for my kids and grandchildren. Holding these views it does seem rather strange that you voted for labour at the last election. But I guess a month is a long time in the life of a “floating voter” Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

We’ll also benefit from retirement as labour are great for middle class benefits. There’s more chance of going to the moon in a shoe box them then abolishing winter fuel allowance, free bus travel or tv licences for wealthy pensioners. I’d imagine they’ll also throw a few more bribes our way in the next 10 years, maybe free train travel, internet or home care . Work under the Tories, retire under labour, that’ll do me. Still don’t get it do you? Funny how liberal “right on” modern lefties are so dismissive of the working man. “Northern monkeys” lol...If you think they’ll just come back, you’re profoundly mistaken. It’ll be Scotland with bells on. Without Scotland, Northern Monkeys & Labour heartlands in the midlands, they’ve no hope. “Vote labour get Sturgeon “ will put “middle England” off, so you’re left with metropolitan pinkos that voted Tory because of Corbyn as his gains. If that equates to anywhere near the seats needed to win, then my co ck’s a carrot. 10 more years of Tory rule coming, by which time I’d have retired. Safe in the knowledge that in my 50 year working life, I only saw 2 labour PM’s. Although poorer thanks to one of them ****ing up our pensions, the 1980 school leavers were pretty damn lucky. Of course, that’s the way to win back all those seats. Elect the bloke responsible for the Brexit policy, a knighted metropolitan liberal from London. The establishment man. Yes, that’ll do it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

One thing for sure is that neither of them would have stayed around very long had they been playing these days. Don’t give me any of this loyalty pony. They’d be modern players, with modern agents, modern values and modern money chucked at them from an early age. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nandy is head and shoulders above the other birds. In looks and electability. She has some interesting ideas, and would worry the tories. Phillips is just a self publicist, Long Bailey an air head & Lady Nugee would be a gift that keeps on giving. There’s no doubt that Starmer would give Boris some awkward moments in the chamber, but I doubt he’d play well with the “red wall”. He’d probably appeal to pinko remainers that couldn’t vote Corbyn, but will that be enough. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
