  1. Funny how these “ I was just talking to someone” stories always end up in agreement with the posters view. We never get “I was recently talking to someone” and the “someone” had a different opinion. If it did happen, and it’s a big if, your “neighbour” is also a frigging idiot. They are nowhere near “too far right” territory. I freely admit I’m backing Boris because that’s the only way we get Brexit done. “Done” as in, not staying in. If Boris gets a majority, there’s no turning back, that’s why I’m backing him. But it’s a Cameron pinko type Government, nothing more. You’ve bought right into the Remoaners pony, think for yourself. 2. What complete and utter pony. Brexit & Priti, other than that it’s pinko as ****. If you think the manifesto & fiscal plans are right wing, you’re deluded. If it wasn’t for Brexit, Gauke, Soubry, Hammond and all the other traitors would sign up for this. It’s nearer their vision for the party than The ERG’s. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. The rich do contribute more, I doubt the richest 1% have ever contributed more to the overall tax take. According to the IFS they pay over a third of all income tax, and 42% of people don’t even pay any. That’s a hefty amount of tax whatever you lefties say. Of course if lefties wanted a “fair” tax system, everyone would pay the same % of their salary. So they don’t want a fair system in the purest sense of the word. They want a system they deem as fair. The divide between rich and poor is a complete and utter pointless measure. By that measure China was “fairer” 50 years ago, when nearly everyone was in poverty, than it is now, where millions have got a lifestyle their parents could only dream about. As the great lady once said “you don’t make poor people richer, by making rich people poorer”. That holds true today as it did then, and we’ll see what the great British public think next month. You claim you’d pay a few more pennies on income tax to stop people waiting on trollies in hospital. Problem is, you’ll pay and they’ll still wait. If one Paul McCartney or one Harry Kane, or Alan Sugar ****s off abroad because of the tax rates, how many ordinary Joes will it take to make that up, thousands I’d have thought. Socialism doesn’t work. End of. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Pony. The richest pay more than their fair share of tax. What on earth does it matter what Paul McCartney earns, who are you or Corbyn to tell him he’s got more money than he needs. You chumps resent people who have money, and seem to believe that by taking it off them it will somehow make poor people richer. The problem with your pony is the rich won’t pay any more , it’s the ordinary blokes that will end up paying more tax. Luckily , the public are more economically literate than you soft arsed lefties, and will vote for the grown ups. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Love it. Corbyn’s millionaire “tycoon “ mate fighting Tom Watson’s old seat, is tax avoider. For the many not the few. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. There’s not one politician who wants to make society unfair. It’s just they disagree on how you do so. The problem with you lefties is you think you have the moral case, that you’re the “caring” ones. It’s pure pony. You don’t make society fairer by making rich people poorer. 8. Not only was he successful, but the way we played the players he signed, & the nippers he played , gave me the greatest years of my football life. I’ve never given a flying fig, that he left, couldn’t care less whether he had his hand in the till, and don’t particularly care what anyone else thinks. He could have shot bambi for all I care, those years gave him a free pass from me. He’s a ****ing legend. End of. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Would have taken that all day long pregame, but bitter blow at the end. Manager spot on today, and we played some decent stuff. Far far better shape. But miss those chances and this league will kill you. Interesting that most Arsenal fans I spoke to, which admittedly was only a dozen or so, think we are going down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I agree. We could do a lot better. Gove is a ****ing Cameron pinko, and aside from Brexit so was Boris. The juries out on whether Boris has genuinely seen the light and become a proper Tory. If he hasn’t, he’ll have to go. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Didn’t catch the debate, so interested in the unbiased opinions of respected posters on here. Surprised that the anti Boris crowd said he had a mare, they’re normally so balanced. Listened to Stephen Bush who claimed Boris will come out happiest, mainly because of Krankie insisting Corbyn will fold and give her indi 2, but also because he did ok in front of a hostile audience. However, Bush must be a far right facist to think Boris did ok, so I’ll go with the balanced guys on here. After all they don’t let their political affiliations and hatred of Boris cloud their judgement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Old McDonnell getting in a bit of a mess today. Claims the IFS isn’t a credible organisation. Strange then that they’re quoted 17 times in his manifesto costings. And to think there’s people on here going to vote for these charlatans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. “The Labour manifesto states they want to raise £80billion in tax revenue and that all of that will come from companies and people earning over £80k a year. That’s simply not credible. You can’t raise that kind of money in our tax system“ Paul Johnson, Institute of Fiscal Studies Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  18. So it’s the same then? Cue the lefties explaining why it’s different Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. They do Only slightly different. The Tory one had ; CCHQ in the bio CCHQ in the Twitter handle CCHQ in cover image Labour's fact-checker: Doesn't tell you it's Labour in the name or handle Doesn't tell you it's Labour in any of their branding. Other than that, and the “fact” they started it in Sept, as opposed to Nov, they’re similar. No doubt you’ll be consistent and be critical of Labour as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Where are all the black & ethnic minorities, at the back of the bus? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. It is you who has the problem reading. Those 7% are catered for by a free electoral id scheme . As quoted by C4 fact check here. As you’re keen on The Electoral Commission maybe you should read their report of Dec 15 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The white middle class Magical Mystery Tour remake looks ****e. Roll up, Roll up, that’s an invitation to hear the “fool on the hill”. #poshbus******s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. At the moment there is a check to ensure people don’t vote twice. So the principle of the state regulating a check is already in place & a given. Bearing that in mind, what is the appropriate check? Someone giving their name and the polling station taking their word for it, or somebody showing their id. I think we all know the answer to that one. No I do not believe there is widespread electoral fraud (maybe 2 or 3 seats) , but that shouldn’t stop us legislating against it. If your argument is we shouldn’t legislate because it doesn’t happen much, then plenty of laws wouldn’t exist. It does go on, there’s no doubt about that, and if it changes one seat, that’s one too many. If there’s one example, that’s one too many. If you’re against the principle of showing Id for anything, that’s one thing. But for labour to demand it to attend events (I doubt there’s widespread attempts from people without it, to attend), then surely the right to vote is more becoming of id than to listen to Diane Abbott’s pony for 2 hours. There can only be two explanations, they’re opposing it for the sake of it and playing political games, or they benefit from it not being in place. I know which one I think it is. Anyway, it’ll now be down to the people to decide. Not you, and certainly not me. If Boris wins, it’ll happen , if he doesn’t it won’t. That’s democracy for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. God, how many more times. The Government proposals (rejected by labour) included this: “Anyone who does not have an approved form of ID will be able to apply, free of charge, for an electoral identity document from their local council” I presume you now back the proposals, or will you find another excuse. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. The Government were proposing this exactly. A free ID card to enable people to vote for those who claim they have non. People could even use it to attend Labour Party meetings. We all know why labour oppose it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
