Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
Lord Duckhunter replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
He gets the chance every single day in training. You seem to imply that it’s no big deal he wasn’t enthused playing for the development squad. Personally, I think that just reinforces Hughes decision, bloke whose done **** all in the game not enthused because it’s not a first team game, shocking. At the end of the day, if he was anywhere near ready to play, he’d have been in given the duds we’ve got. The fact he’s not is because he’s nowhere near good enough at the moment. Instead of wondering why he’s not playing, you should be wondering how poor he must be that Austin, Long & Gabbi are seen as a better bet at the moment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

I’m the one who is advocating a fair justice system, not you. I want judges, juries and courts to determine justice, you’re happy for one individual to over ride that. This isn’t about individual cases, this is about a principle. Politicians, or even worse, unelected peers , shouldn’t ride roughshod over due process . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So you think Davo is “frozen out”. Who should he replace , Lemina, PEH? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love Davo, one of our best ever value for money buys & a fantastic pro. However, he’s over the hill and is deservedly not playing. Maya, probably deserves a start, but I can see why Hughes doesn’t rate him. A lot of pundits don’t rate him, and to be fair he’s not any better than we have. There’s no big conspiracy in either case. More virtual signalling pony. It’s got **** all to do with #metoopony Hain is a second rate politician desperate for the limelight. What he did is only legal because of some archaic law. Historian David Starkey claimed on Friday that privilege was granted to parliamentarians to protect them from judges interfering with parliament, not to enable parliament to interfere with the process of law in an individual case. Alan Johnson said claimed it’s granted to be used “during your legislative duties”. What legislative duties was Hain engaged in? Forget the individuals, forget the alleged offence and concentrate on the principle. I’ve no doubt if JRM stood up and named a rape complainant you’d be wetting your knickers. You can’t pick and choose based on individual cases, it’s either right or wrong. Lords bypassing the legal process and undermining judges is wrong, no matter who is involved. If some rich chick grabs my tackle it’s up to me whether I decide to report the matter to the police, not you or any other soft arsed leftie. I may decide that I’ll take a bung & get on with my life. We will see if Green is convicted of any offence, I seriously doubt he will be despite the “crime” being outed. There’s not even any evidence yet that he’s done anything illegal. You seem obsessed with the state controlling people’s lives.

What a load of pony. Firstly, there was only an interim injunction , it’s not for Hain to decide whether this should be broken. It’s contempt if he said it out of parliament. It’s not a blue v red issue, with Alan Johnson a former Labour home sec criticising him. Secondly, it’s not for you, Theresa May, Hain or anyone to decide whether victims can accept payment in return for silence. It’s a free country and if somebody doesn’t want the police involved who are we to insist they must. The alternative could be Green offering them **** all, employing high powered expensive lawyers to fight and get off any criminal charges (remember it’s beyond reasonable doubt). They could take out a civil case, but they’ll be up against the best lawyers money can buy. Provided they’re happy to take the cash and move on, why deny them that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You don’t have to pigeon hole Tommy Robinson into every thread, we all know how clever you are knowing his previous name, you’re trying too hard now. I believe Hain clearly has over stepped the mark, and the fact your backing him, removes any doubt I may have had. The secret barrister pretty much got it spot on when he wrote this. “We don’t know what that full hearing would have decided. It may well have agreed with the High Court. It may have agreed with the Court of Appeal. But the courts have now been prevented from properly considering the matter by the actions of Lord Hain, who has taken it upon himself to usurp the functions of the independent judiciary in ongoing legal proceedings and impose his own, irreversible judgment on everybody involved.” I suggest you concentrate on the principle rather than the people, it’s surely better for judges & courts to decide these things rather than an unelected member of Parliament Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s not for you to decide ,or Hain for that matter. We have courts & judges to decide these things, not you and certainly not Peter Hain. As was said previously 2 of the alleged victims supported the injunction, not that Hain gave a flying **** about them. If MP’s or even worse unelected Lords, act like they’re above the law, how long before chicks like Ched Evens accuser is named. Parliamentary privilege is just that , a privilege, and Hain has cheapened it because Green is an easy target. Gesture politics of the very worse kind, particularly in the light of major labour figures accepting similar behaviour from the speaker, because he’s on their side over a political issue. Shameful double standards Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

People’s grief and how they feel is their own ****ing business. Who are you, The Grief Police? Should we check with you the appropriate level of mourning after each loss? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But 2 of the “victims” didn’t want him named, and 3 senior judges looking at all the evidence upheld the injunction. Would you support someone using parliamentary privilege to name the women who falsely accused Ched Evens. No of course you wouldn’t, because like Hain you’re not interested in the principle when it involves someone you don’t like. This was in The Times today “Dozens of former Labour Party staff have been forced to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) that ban them from speaking out about sexist and racist behaviour by members — despite Jeremy Corbyn pledging to ban such contractual clauses. Officials who have been paid off since Corbyn’s allies seized control of party headquarters have signed clauses that stop them going public on the scale and severity of sexual harassment, bullying and anti-semitism cases against members.” Let’s see if Hain names these accused members. I won’t hold my breath. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This is complete pony. We’re not particularly defensive at all. We should have won the last 2 games, created enough clear chances to win them, particularly at Boscombe, but our forwards are duds and our midfield don’t score goals. Replacing Lemina with Armstrong at Boscombe & OR with JWP is not the actions of a manager over compensating defensively. Not at 0-0, it’s not. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

But Hain can? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Some Spanish & Italian outlets reporting that he was. However a source from the local paper stated that he went to the hospital to visit his injured player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2 bang average sides. We should have nicked it, but our finishing/ final ball is woeful. We’re slightly better and stronger than last season, but not by much. I guess the positives were 2 clean sheets in a row, Lamina played well & JWP actually did ok when he cane on. I don’t understand not starting Long. Yes he can’t score, but neither can Gabbi or Austin and if you’re going to play a non scoring CF I’d play one that causes issues and unsettles defenders. Austin is getting embarrassing now. Exactly, easy to “out” Green, he’s an easy target. Had it been a labour donor or a Remainer it would have been different, as Margaret Beckett said about Bercow “ "the constitutional future of this country...trumps bad behaviour". At the end of the day, 3 senior judges, including the second most senior judge in the country ruled on this, but Hain showed contempt of their ruling. Typical ****ing leftie, hypercritical as per usual Ps. I don’t like Green, he’s a slime ball. However, that’s not the point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If I’m stuck in the Stone Age, perhaps I should become a Muslim. Then I can stone chicks, chuck gays off buildings and make Mrs Duck walk round looking like a bank robber. The only think putting me off is soppy lefties like you will start sticking up for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Stop making excuses for them, why do they only do it to white non Muslim chicks? Just because there’s other perverts about doesn’t alter the fact that their culture is to blame. Their religion IS evil, end of . Birds have to dress up as letter boxes, gays get treated as dirt. It is medieval and backward, yet because they’re not white working class , you lefties make excuses for them. If a gang of West Ham supporting Brexit lads went to Spain and did the same to Spanish kids, you wouldn’t be spouting the same pony. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Even if we accept Schengen (which we won’t ), the EU won’t offer it up. Free movement aside, the Swiss have a pretty decent series of agreements , cake & eat it territory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s not an acceptable model for the EU. No way they’ll let us go down that route. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Their position made absolute sense. You’re looking at it from the position that we’re an independent country within a trade deal. The EU look at it in the same way the federal government would if California asked for restrictions on people from Mississippi working in their state. They may not be there yet, and they’ve had to slow down somewhat as the European people are starting to revolt, but ever closer union means there’s zero chance of them reversing anything that they’ve got now. They’ve banked that on the road to union. A United Europe in the long term is much more important that anyone or any groups short term problems. If it causes Greece hardship, or leads to a lost generation of Italian, Spanish, Greek kids, it’s a price worth paying. And they certainly wouldn’t water down one of the fundamental pillars of statehood, the right to live & work in another part of that state. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Bombey 0 v 0 Saints match + reaction thread
Lord Duckhunter replied to Shroppie's topic in The Saints
Decent result, probably should have nicked it, but I’d have snapped your hand off for a point beforehand. Wes excellent today, probably he’s most assured performance for a long long time. Stephens did ok as well, so fair play to Hughes for that selection. PEH stand out player for us today, defo our MoTM. Long won more headers in quarter of an hour than Austin & Ings did combined. Prior to his introduction Ake was playing in his pipe & slippers, Austin is slower than me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
