The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Lord Duckhunter replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
You’re deluded man. You’re somehow convincing yourself that you’re fighting against the elite, the privileged, the establishment, when the truth is you’re fighting for those very people. The banks, big business, The Lords, The civil service, the whole bloody establishment here and abroad support the status quo. There’s absolutely nothing radical or progressive about your stance, it’s conservative to its very core. Just because some privileged people support Leaving, doesn’t make it a privileged or elitist endeavour. The EU is a bosses club, a protectionist racket that seeks to build an empire. Always has been, always will be. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Given your approach to marital relationships, you must have some Sweaty ancestry. Answer the question. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Perhaps you or one of Swinsons other fan boys can answer this. Her policy is that people know what Lib Dem policy on Brexit is, therefore voting Lib/Dem gives them the mandate to revoke A50. How does this square with her Scottish policy, which is to refuse another independence vote even if SNP win a majority in the election . The Jocks clearly know the SNP policy is for a second vote, so surely that’s a mandate to have one. Why would a party with Democrat in their name, refuse the Sweaties the second vote they clearly voted for. I wonder why a party leader who needs Unionist votes to win her constituency is inconsistent over this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Pony. If it’s what “they stand for”, they’d commit to it being their policy in any coalition. Like tuition fees, it’s a policy they’ll ditch given half a chance. Swinson paid tribute to that old dog Ashdown today. Wonder what he’d make of their new policy. Mind you as one of the biggest hypocrites of the past 30 years, he’d probably approve. http:// Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Pony, it’s complete and utter pony. Their policy is if they form a majority Government they’ll revoke. There’s more chance of me going to the moon in a shoe box than them winning a majority. They know full well that they won’t be revoking, because they’ll never win a majority. Coming clean would be stating what their red lines are to enter into a coalition in the event of a hung parliament. This is just cynical political posturing, a bit like signing a pledge not to raise tuition fees. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
The BBC have had Layla Moran on countless times and don’t bang on about her domestic violence arrest. Sir Geoffrey throughly deserves his knighthood for services to cricket and broadcasting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Boris isn’t a racist and islamaphobia isn’t rampant in the Tory party. I’ll spell it out for you. There is a huge difference between not believing something and believing it to be true but turning a blind eye. Had I claimed “yes, Boris is racist but his Brexit position trumps that”. I would be guilty of the rank hypocrisy pinkos have indulged in. Margret Beckett & Emily Thornberry both accepted that Bercow had bullied and displayed sexist behaviour but turned a blind eye. Thornberry said “now is not the time to remove him” and Beckett said “Brexit trumps bad behaviour “. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Griffin does support Brexit but you don’t find me supporting him. More importantly Brexit supporting MP’s won’t be cheering him, claiming Brexit trumps bad behaviour. Bercow has had very serious allegations of bullying and sexism swept under the carpet purely because he is useful for the extremists in their attempt to bypass democracy. If you’re happy with that it tells us a lot about your moral compass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Exactly, a racist one at that. Still I reckon they’d cheer Nick Griffin & Rolf Harris if they supported Remain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

As he considers himself a ground breaking speaker, no doubt he’ll approve of the precedent it’ll set. The whole Bercow thing shows labour and pinkos hypocrisy perfectly. A proven racist & bully kept in place because of his Brexit stance. As a senior labour figure said “Brexit trumps bad behaviour.” The last 2 speakers have been absolutely woeful, let’s hope Hoyle gets the role and restores a bit of dignity to this crucial role. The politicisation of the speakers role will cause untold damage to future Parliament’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Really? Wow.....you remainers are so very clever. I don’t think there’s one person who thinks we’re going to trade under WTO rules for perpetuity. Not one. It’s not just oh so clever remainers like you that realise we’ll have to negotiate a trade deal. Most of the ERG favour a Canada style arrangement and I’d imagine most of them realise this involves a negotiation and doesn’t happen the day we leave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What a childish response. The ERG voted against it because they wanted no deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Second referendum wouldn’t change anything. If Leave won again, who would enact it? This bunch of MPs have proved that they won’t. Labour will stand on a platform of second referendum, as will Lib Dem’s. If you want a second referendum, the route is via a GE, how else are you going to get it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

People understand it just as much as condescending people like you. They just know that Parliament will not agree any deal that involves leaving. They’ll find any old excuse to vote against, to delay, in the hope that the public mood turns significantly enough to make a re run viable. Once we leave with no deal, we’re out. There’s no turning back, no revoking A50, no delay. The only way back is to rejoin. Remainers have brought this on themselves , they had a perfectly acceptable deal (from a Remain point of view) on the table. A deal that gave them a pathway to any long term relationship anybody desired, except being a member. Which is exactly why they voted it down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What is it with you lot? Democracy seems to frighten you. If the people give a mandate to Boris, so be it. Equally, if they give one to Corbyn or that daft sweaty Lib Dem , the same. Not wanting an election in case you lose, lol. Modern lefties for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Pony. Backbone would be going to the people & seeking a mandate. Putting their cushy jobs on the line, risking being rejected by the public. Squatting in Westminster scared your views maybe rejected, is not showing “backbone”Douglas Carswell & Mark Reckless showed backbone. If they thought for one minute the country agreed with them, they’d put it to the vote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If he sought an election under the FTPA he gets to fix the date. If he passed a one line “not withstanding the FTPA a General Election will be on 15th Oct” act , that’ll be the law of the land and therefore illegal to change it. It’s all semantics anyway. The opposition know Boris will secure a majority with Nigel’s help & therefore are running scared of the people. The country needs an election and they’ll punish the Remain extremists when one comes. Johnson is a raving pinko on everything apart from Brexit. That fact is indisputable despite the half wits on here trying to portray him as some sort of right wing dictator. Take a few minutes to look at his policy positions o over the years. He’s a Cameroon pinko. End of. That said, his Brexit policy is sound & he’s purging the party of Lib Dem’s. Therefore he has my temporary support until we ditch him for a proper Tory. There’s absolutely nothing moderate about trying to suppress a democratic vote, so I don’t recognise this description of “moderates”. The people he’s purging are out of touch extremists and we’re better off without them . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
