Well done The Manager. Criticised pre game for playing Long & leaving out Lamina on pre game thread, but tactically got it spot on. Proved here and at City that he can set sides up to contain the big boys, just needs to prove he can break down sides that sit back at our place. I'd normally be against breaking our pay structure & bringing new players in at vastly higher wages than everyone else. The problem this causes is wage inflation with existing players then wanting more money. However at the moment this shouldn't be a problem. I doubt if any of them have the balls to try and claim they're underpaid for the performances they've been turning in, and even if they did knock on Les' door asking for a pay rise they'd be laughed out the room. I feel a bit under informed to post on here, a little bit inadequate because of my lack of knowledge. Unlike the vast majority of posters in this thread I have no idea of Kelvins coaching abilities . Do not know what badges he holds or which ones he's taking, do not know whether he's got the makings of a decent coach or not. I do not even know what his specific duties are within his role . I did think about posting anyway, but decided that it's probably better to know a bit about it before doing so. Not as consistent as Toby, but has the potential to be world class. Bit airy fairy & causal sometimes and has shown he’s a massive bell end. Clearly head and shoulders above any other Liverpool defender, but they need to sort out the defensive side of their midfield & their keeper before they’ve got any chance of winning the league. Thank **** we’re not a fan owned club, because some of the names touted on this “serious candidate” thread are ****ing deluded. Brenda will not leave Celtic before the summer, no ****ing chance. People are moaning about our present manager, mini Rafa, yet calling for the real thing. He causes aggro with the board everywhere he goes and is every bit as negative as our last 2 managers. There’s also zero chance of him wanting to come to a club our size. Anybody who thinks Dyche or Wagner would leave their present employment and join us mid season, is completely hat stand. Kompany hobbling off after 10 mins tonight makes we wonder why we accepted the money so early. I don’t normally care who we sell to, but why make a big fuss in the summer, then suck them off 3 months later.
