  1. I have one log in & I certainly aren't trolling. It's called having an opinion an airing that opinion. It is an honest opinion, but I don't get where this "really rate him" line came from as I've never said I "really rate him". For the benefit of doubt and to stop you putting words into my mouth this is my view. He's done a decent job in difficult circumstances & with the players he's been given. I don't think Ronald Koeman would have done a better job, had he not left. I think the football could be better but I'm encouraged by the development of some young players and his willingness to trust them. I thought beating Liverpool over 2 legs without Austin or VvD was a fantastic achievement and one of the best tactical displays I've seen from any Saints manager. Here is the most important bit; I do not think he deserves the sack after one season, I was critical of Koeman, Poch and certain players for using us and being disloyal, so practise what I preach. Loyalty is a 2 way street, I want it from players & mangers and I'll give it to players & managers. IF there is no improvement in results/performances by the middle of next season, then it maybe time to look again. I don't particularly rate him, or not rate him, I just think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. I would rather have Claude Puel as manager than somebody using this club as a stepping stone to bigger and better things , who will depart the first offer he gets. Oh,and just to add, I have a ST & do about 10 aways a season, as i notice that the pro Puel gang " must" miss more games than the Puel out bods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. What are you waffling on about? It was a very simple point. Did he meet the IRA, he said he didn't. You clarified this denial by stating that "didn't meet" actually means didn't get involved with planning their bombing operations. It's got nothing to do with the pony you wrote. 3. Ok, that must be it. Silly me, I thought the words " I didn't meet the IRA" meant he didn't meet them. I didn't realise that it actually means he didn't plan a bombing campaign with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. What do feel about the club ditching Puel after one season of a 3 year contract. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What he's "blithering" about is Corbyn's claim in the Andrew Neil interview that he'd never met the IRA. Whether he was being disingenuous or lying depends on your political persuasion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I don't understand his answer about funding nationalisation of water companies ," How much will you borrow?" His answer was "None, I'll issue bonds". Isn't that debt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Corbyn started ok with Neil, but floundering now when it comes to NATO & nuclear weapons. He is not answering & being evasive. The supporters will love it but won't shift one single floating voter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nope it's still as bonkers as it was when you wrote it. Narrowing of the polls suits May & The Tories. It'll concentrate the minds of the voters. If you can say "vote for us or you'll get Steptoe" & people believe it, that's perfect. It'll stop people voting to keep the majority down. I think Corbyn will rack up votes in metropolitan liberal areas, but the marginals will all go blue. The perfect result for Tories is a massive majority but Steptoe gets a higher % of the vote than Milliband did. He may get to stay on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. God imagine the match thread if we haven't scored 30 mins into the new season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Sorry for your loss Guan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Because they're following the Skate play book. Howe is even turning into Twitchy with his 'triffic signings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. He hasn't got another football job, that sums it up to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Dear oh dear. Are you serious? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. To say he doesn't question "them and us" is pony. He's always on about how unfair FFP is and how it cements the big clubs advantage. You waffle on about "what if we got 2 less points", well we didn't . I'm sure if I posted "what if" we won the EFL cup or "what if" we scored every pen we were given , you'd soon point out that we didn't . He sums up my thoughts exactly "Southampton keep selling their best players, so why shouldn't it hit them? Given the club's policy where, seriously, do the owners think they should be? Eighth and a final is a decent effort" Decent effort, not great or wonderful, or amazing, but decent. Given the circumstances, the players & the injury to VvD I think that's a pretty fair assessment Correct me if I'm wrong, but your answer to the question of "where do you think we should be". Is 8th but playing fast attacking football, with lots of goals & excitement. Clearly, that's preferable to what we've had this season. But, who is capable of delivering that with this set of players? You may think it's preferable to finish lower in the league, but watch more "excitement ", I don't . I want us to finish as high as possible, preferably playing great football, but if not , then so be it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. The only way we'll win this battle is for ordinary decent Muslims to sort their loons out, but they don't seem capable or willing to do so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. There's a vigil tonight, let's see how many Muslims are there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Amazing isn't it. They look at the table after everyone has played each other twice, and have formed the opinion we're the 8th best team in England. ****ing clueless halfwits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Interesting listening to The Times podcast whilst I was walking the dog. They have their ratings for the season. A-F with + & -'s allowwd . 3 journos & 1 ex pro . All gave us a B ( for perspective Everton got 2x B & 2c+). Points were based on how you did compared to your squad, spend, & wages together with expectations (city got c-) . Only Chelsea, Spurs , Liverpool , Burnley & Boscombe were above us in their ratings. Again, it's just a bit of fun, but it shows others perception of our season . Here's a question for the Puel out mob. Is there any neutrals, pundits or journos that think Puel should be sacked ? Neutral meaning non Saints. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. My Leicester supporting mate sent me this text this morning "Another good season for you guys" Obviously, he's just one bloke, but I'm pretty sure most non saints supporters think similar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Corbyn's got some front, he should basically STFU. Sunday he refused to condemn the IRA. Perhaps ISIS are using bullet & bombs to get their way, something McDonnell praised the IRA for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. When the dead are named & ages given, it's going to be horrendous. I have a 16 year old girl whose been to about a dozen similar concerts over the years. God, I just feel for the families. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I am as well, Especially the % of points below the actual champions, the points total, artistic merit, excitement, jokes at press conferences and the number of points gained against the top 6. Life was so much easier when you only had to predict the final league position. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. About as seriously as Poch did Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. ****ing heartbreaking reading Twitter. Number of posts saying "my friend/son/daughter etc went to concert & not picking up phone" the pictures are all of teenagers & younger. Horrible horrible, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. A police source inside Manchester Arena: "There is blood everywhere and people are dying all around us, horrendous." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
