The key to what number aways the eligibility goes to is clearly based on how many people are going to risk trying to get in on another's ST. The only risk is they won't get in , however if the club put the ST holder at risk as well it may stop anyone doing it . If the club had said " anyone allowing somebody else to use their ST number will be banned from receiving away tickets for the rest of the season", would a ST holder take the chance . I certainly wouldn't . I would guess that if tickets were just bought by the ST holder only that it will go down to 1 away ( will be a mad scramble ) , but it will end up being 3 as people will take the chance

West Ham have no way of checking who is using the ticket , Inter do . I'd rather 5,000 Saints supporters got to see this special occasion than 4,800 with 200 missing out because some twts think the sales criteria doesn't apply to them .

You may think it's funny but the people they are depriving of tickets won't . It could end up with people bring turned away from the away end whilst somebody entitled to that ticket stuck at home. People with 3 aways could miss out because someone with 0 but has a mate who did 5 , gets the ticket . If that bloke who jumped the queue doesn't even get to see the match , it makes it even worse. I'm lucky enough to be guaranteed a ticket but I'd be pretty ****ed off if I was on the borderline

That's assuming it's going to be easy to get tickets in the home end . Two of our party of 8 are using this method but alarms bells are ringing with me. Why restrict the official allocation without enforcing strict Italians only in the home ends . As you say the easiest thing to do is give us a bigger allocation , therefore my guess is that they won't allow English credit/debit cards to buy home tickets , post to England or allow English address to buy these tickets . They are either stupid , don't give a shiete or will enforce home fans only rigorously . I hope it's one of the first 2 but i have my doubts

Chris Nicholl was the most under rated , I guess that's the problem with following the big fella . Alan Ball was great for 18 months , but there's nothing to suggest it was particularly sustainable . Hoddle made a real difference but I was biased because I never rated Dave Jones . Nigel is a legend , great bloke , perfect for us and the championship season was fantastic . Poch was head s shoulders above him or Koeman IMO . He'll manage a really big club one day . According to the club it was the Italian police that insisted on 5000 max Saints supporters . I hope it doesn't happen but I can really see people getting a shock here . The Italian police & Inter are not stupid , why set a limit of 5,000 when they could easily have catered for more , and then send out these Siamo Noi cards to English people . It doesn't help that there are planks on Twitter asking Inter about " neutral sections " and also all over Facebook as well describing what they're going to do . Personally I'd be surprised if these cards are shipped to England before our game . If they're OK with more English coming surely they'd have just upped our allocation and kept us together . I hope I'm wrong because there's 8 of us booked flights & hotel . 6 will meet the first criteria , 1 should be ok , but 1 has ST with 1 away on it so may struggle . What I've suggested is he tries to use a foreign address to apply for this card . My eldests friend has Italian relatives & we are seeing if he can use their address , have the card posted to Italy and they then forward it on to the uk . Failing that he's going to try friends in Spain , followed by Dublin if they won't do it . Maybe it's an over reaction but better safe than sorry . Perhaps I'm wrong and they don't really give a Shiite , but it can't be as easy as just applying to Milan and getting a ticket .
