Agree It makes me laugh the way people bang on about replacements . If there were replacements for Morgan, Vic & Mane wouldn't Liverpool , Man Utd & Spurs have signed them and saved a shed load of money?

The EU might reform itself and change , but it'll be in the wrong direction . The only change the EU want is more EU, the only way to fix the Euro is more EU . If there is going to be reform in the EU it'll be even further away from what the UK wanted . Thank god the British people were sensible to say " enough is enough" .

He's also got a lot of miles in his legs having played so many games in the lower leagues . Shanks used to claim he could tell when a players legs had gone before anyone else and that ruthlessly ditching them st that point was a key component of management. Nowadays there's all sorts of gizmos and support staff to monitor these things rather than the managerial instinct . His reading of the game is excellent and his positional play very good most of the time . There were signs last season that he's at the tipping point and maybe slightly over it, but having Pepe & VvD as a partner and his intelligence as a centre half means he's still top quality. If you take the emotion out of it there is some sense in selling him. A replacement/ competition will be needed next season , he's at the top of his value now , but the downside is it's very late in the window .

They've won something like 2 league games all year . God this place would be unbearable if that happened to us

Slightly different circumstances than normal. He's hardly kicked a ball for 2 seasons . Nobody knows if he'll get anywhere near the level he was . Personally I want to go somewhere where you can get a decent drink at a reasonable price , is easy to get to and play against one of the bigger European teams. This won't qualify me for hard core über fandom but will mean most of my saints mates will be there as well so will be a good crack .
