  1. We need somebody to put pressure on Jose & VvD . The gap between them and our back ups is too big . Maybe somebody like Chambers who can play elsewhere , I wouldn't be happy if one of the back ups had to play more than once in a while
  2. Lol, that many ? 4 million wow . What was the figure leave got in the actual vote, more than that ??? Of course the important figure is 1 million , as in the more than 1 million votes the winning side got .
  3. People are perfectly within their rights to keep campaigning , to keep whinging & crying and to keep insulting the people who were on the winning side . Just as spotty faced teenagers are within their rights to cry, and bore their mates when their true love dumps them . Personally I hope they keep it up , seeing a load of losers giving up their weekend marching against democracy and reading the whingers on here, makes our victory even sweeter Wes.
  4. Pathetic isn't it? They're all for democracy provided they agree with the result .
  5. Don't confuse verbal , because he didn't want one , we shouldn't have had one . All the nonsense about Remain MPs ignoring the result , is just that , nonsense . There's some doubt as to whether Parliament will get a vote on article 50, but just suppose they did , it'll go through . The Tories have a majority and it'll be a 3 line whip issue . How many Tories are going to oppose the will of the nation and in most cases the will of their constituents ? Maybe a handful of EU head bangers like Clarke , but not many . Let's say a dozen , well there were ( off the top of my head ) 17 labour leavers , plus the Unionists , plus Carswell. There will also be many Labour reluctant remainers like Corbyn and also northern labour MPs whose voters voted 60%+ to leave , are they really going to go against their voters, the will of the majority and create a constitutional crisis , they won't have the stomach for it . They'll be a lot of handwringing and bed wetting but it'll carry , no problem . That's even supposing it even gets voted on and that's doubtful If the Remain losers are pinning their hopes on it not getting through parliament they're even more deluded than they were the morning of June 23rd.
  6. If you had bothered to read the post I was replying to before jumping in with your losers argument it would be better . The referendum is advisory but parliament WILL follow it . The time to say " we have a parliamentary system , not referendum " , which was basically Whiteys post , was when the referendum bill went through parliament , not after you lost . BTW I thought you told us remain would win by a mile . Lol
  7. Parliament voted to hand its sovereignty over EU membership to the people via a referendum . The PM didn't decide to have a referendum off his own back it had to get voted through parliament . The time for Leave losers to use parliament to block the referendum was when the legislation granting one was in front of them , not after they've lost . They didn't, because they thought it was a good idea when they thought they'd win , it only became a bad idea after they lost
  8. He totally misunderstands our democracy . We do not elect presidents , we elect local MP's to represent us . The party with the most MP's have a leader who is elected by their members , that leader becomes the PM . We do not elect or have never elected the PM
  9. Man up . If you think this is an " unholy mess" you really need to get a grip I'll quote your post when The EU goes tits up
  10. I was certain the EU is a basket case and will get worse
  11. Apart from The EU I've disagreed with everything Galloway stands for , but you have to admit he's a great orator and highly entertaining . Will liven it up tonight
  12. I thought Cedric struggled with the physical nature of the league on occasions . If he can't get used to it week in week out , he'll not be consistently making the side . He maybe better suited to Spain .
  13. Galloway on QT tonight , should be good
  14. "His" , they should join the 21st century . The party that's obsessed with equality seems incapable of delivering it. Still I guess the pretty little things get to travel in a pink bus every election .
  15. My 3 grandchildren will be thanking me for unshackling us from the dead hand of The Eu
  16. I'll keep bumping this thread every summer for the next decade . Let's see how the EU is getting on compared to England
  17. Let's see what happens to The EU & then contrast that with what happens to The UK in the next 5 years . My guess is that anger will turn to relief and that most of the 48% that LOST the referendum will be grateful to us brave visionaries that voted out .
  18. Pony . She talked the talk , but bottled the walk . Maggie wouldn't have hesitated .
  19. Meanwhile labour's potential first women leader is bottling it and leading the most incompetent coup in political history .
  20. You are. We will be coming out . The only debate now is whether we leave or remain in the single market . But , we are coming out of the EU and I suggest you get your head round it .
  21. All this nonsense about the early 70's . It was right to join then an it's right to leave now . Had it remained The EEC and remained at under a dozen countries with similar GDP I doubt whether there would have been any thought of a referendum , let alone leaving
  22. What about people banging on about our glorious semi final defeat in '96 ? " It's coming home " FFS .
  23. "Further" , we've hardly had any austerity at all . I wouldn't have ring fenced any departments , therefore we could cut foreign aid . The pension triple lock is going to cost us a fortune . We should stop subsidising big business with tax credits , it depresses wages . We are still not living within our means despite growth in the economy . Osborne has been wrong time and time again, starting from promising to match labours spending plans when in opposition . We needed a proper Tory government not a new labour lite one . There will always be boom & bust and there will always be recessions Brexit or not . We didn't tighten fiscal policy enough , therefore we're not going to be able to lossen it when we get a slow down . He's done exactly what he accused labour of doing .
  24. **** me some people wet their pants at the slightest bit of turbulence. The £ will soon be back where it was against the € as Europe is broken . Anybody who believes that Gideon was ever going to run a surplus probably still believes in father Xmas . It was never going to happen, he's just used Brexit as an excuse, look at his record . Any slowdown in the housing market will be more to do with Gideons ill conceived property tax rises than any Brexit . Provided Gideon and Carny are moved on and some competent replacements brought nobody will notice much difference. Gideon has been a smoke & mirrors Chancellor, talking a good game whilst doing **** all to fix the economy. He's missed pretty much every target , messed up pretty much every budget , has basically followed Darlings plan, yet tries to claim the rebalanced the economy , fixed the roof whilst the sun shines and other such nonsense . We havent had anything like the austerity needed , are still overspending and now you remain mugs are going to let him blame it all on Brexit . Open your eyes.
  25. He's a far better player than JWP & Reed . So he would improve us , no doubt . Whether he's worth the money for the improvement is debatable .I'm sure there's better value around , but I would quite like a few more Brits in the squad
