I read somewhere that Ron asked for a forward used to the premier league , who could play wide in a 3 or down the middle . When put in those terms there aren't too many better , that would come to the club . Top professional , hard worker but lacking a bit in the finishing department . If he could finish he wouldn't be playing for us , he'd be at a top 4 side

What are you on about? I have the utmost respect for him as a bloke , manager & particularly as a youth coach/mentor. However , he is now a paid radio summariser and he's awful . To keep saying Foster is rank professionalism . If I took the snap dragon out for a meal & Matt Le Tiss was the chef , could i complain if it was shiete or do I say " he was a great footballer , so that uncooked Sea bass is ok with me"?

Don't know about Doctors , but I know midwives do a lot of hours over , you can hardly be easing the babies head out and suddenly declare " I'm off now , I've finished my shift " . They don't get paid for it , however they do book the extra hours and they can get the time back.

I remember looking round The Pig Iron in Middlesbrough and seeing some of the roughest birds I've ever seen in my life St Jacko. Now , I'm not usually too fussy , particularly when there's cheap drink involved , but they were horrendous . Put me off the town for life .

According to my Mrs who works in NHS they are being offered a higher basic salary , but reducing premium payments for working unsocial hours . It's something that's happened in the private sector , I believe Tesco & B&Q are doing the exact same thing now . You obviously can't compare working in retail with being a doctor , but it's about money plain & simple . If Hunt doubled their money , their patient safety concerns would soon disappear .

Prehaps Hunt should " stuff their mouths with gold" as Labour had to when the "principled" doctors opposed the setting up of the NHS.

There's always going to be a handful with a legitimate reason for getting the the exit early and I do get that ( although I wouldn't leave myself ) that people leave when the result isn't in doubt . But how on earth could anyone sit through the final 15 minutes of tension on sat and then walk out with 4 minutes injury time remaining . People with elderly relatives or similar aside , I do think it casts doubt on your credentials as not only a saints fan , but a football fan as well . Many people can't make games for various reasons , but I doubt they turn the radio off before the end . Sorry but I can't get my head round it . We're not alone , I was right by the Arsenal fans last week and they did the same , including one particularly mouthy twt. I don't recall it happening so much in the 70's & 80's .

Saturday was pathetic in the Kingsland . There must have been 30 to 40 leaving by the entrance by me during injury time . Of course they're entitled to do what they want , but are they football fans let alone saints fans . I wouldn't have left a neutral game that was as nerve tingling as that, never mind that it's you're own club . Columnists are , but should bbc journos express opinions . Nick Robinson used to and now that fit Laura bird does now . Every single time there's a major issue bbc reporters give their analysis of the situation rather than the basic facts . There's also running orders & which story to cover . By putting Cameron's pathetic " re-negotiation" at the top of the news someone thinks that it's an important development . Personally I'd have made it the last item as its not worth a JArther . Rightly or wrongly , that's bias , just as not majoring on the cologne incident is . If a load of birds were groped and sexually assaulted at a UKIP conference , I'm pretty sure the BBC would have made more of it than they did. You'll never get unbiased reporting as there's too much human opinion involved

Bit ironic that people use a YouGov survey when talking about right wing bias and right wing newspaper barons influencing politics , when the polls influence election campaigns and Peter Kellner is a right pinko married into the labour establishment.

Bias can only be measured against your own personal politics, therefore balance can not really be measured in any meaningful way . Of course the press is biased , because if it wasn't it would be boring and sterile . Just because the most popular papers are The Mail & The Sun lefties get their knickers in a twist over it . People like Toynbee & Little Owen Jones are the most biased opinion writers around , often disguising opinion as fact . I just laugh at some of their articles , whereas lefties seem to foam at the mouth when it's Littlejohn or Hitchens . The bbc is also biased, because individual reporters ( particularly political ones ) analysis shows that bias . They don't just report the facts they get asked by the anchor " what does this mean for Corbyn , or for the government " ect . Once they start to give their opinion it naturally contains a level of bias . One persons balance is another persons bias . The bbc are particularly poor at picking political guests for programmes such as QT. It's always the same old faces , why they think people like Janet Street Porter or David Starkey have anything to offer is beyond me . If I was a leftie I'd be particularly upset if I was represented by people like Abbott all the time .Although her patronising causal racialism is great for right wing votes .

Vic has got rocks for brains and so have some of our supporters judging by the way they clapped him off and some defending him on here . You have to use a little bit of brain playing in the modern game , you can't go diving in like that and not run the risk of getting a red . I don't care whether he got the ball or didn't catch the guy , he gave the ref a decision to make , when he didn't need to . First off , he should have controlled the ball , but when he didn't , he needed to show some restraint instead of lunging in . People can cry all day long about ****enburg or the West Ham reaction , but he's now been sent off 3 times . Add that to the fact that he's refused to play once this season it becomes clear that his unprofessional behaviour is costing us . 9 times out of 10 we'd have lost that game , but even though we didn't , we've now got to rely on Classie ,a man who for all his talents doesn't seem capable of putting a 5 match run together . Everybody worked so hard when we had 10 , but I thought Long was superb . Wholehearted is an understatement when it comes to that guy . We are so much better without Pelle lumbering around , I thought he was really average today .
