  1. That's the main reason we got Puel in, he believes in nippers and he plays them . On that score he's done everything we've wanted. Simms, McQueen , JWP and Stephens have made great strides under him . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I can't believe that Stephens isn't a top quality centre half yet. What's up with the bloke, after a handful of premier league games he should be up to speed by now ffs . Puels ****ing clueless, what sort of a manager stands by his youngsters and lets them learn from their mistakes. Unless a nipper is as good as a senior pro he needs to be dropped. Stephens hasn't played like VvD, he's clearly out of his depth. Why on earth would the club look to the future and give him a chance? **** me, we only got 6!points today and at Sunderland, without him we'd have got 8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Played well for most of the game, but the sloppy 20 mins around their equaliser could have cost us. Make no mistake, their keeper killed them. We'll need to be more ruthless against better sides. I don't get the "out of his depth" comments about Stephens. Obviously he's not as good as VvD or even Yoshida, but he's not out of his depth. He'd get in the Watford side, and there's plenty of centre halves in this league at his level. Puel proving what a good manager he is, to get 3 away points after Sun is good man management. Well done Claude & Eric Black Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. One game in the last dozen and that's ok is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. What & Forster does? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Tindall sent off as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ibra should of been off anyway for 2 yellows. Throw mings to the ground, ref saw it but ended up getting lectured by ibra , should have been a yellow. Then got yellow for arguing against peno. He gives Surman yellow for pushing ibra to ground but not for him throwing mings to ground. Shocking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Pony, Stek was OK, certainly not "calamitous". Never made a mistake as bad as Forster did at palace. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  11. American radio is far superior, you should stop being such a little Englander. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The BBC distorts the radio market and this contributes to the awful state of radio in this country. People bang on about US television but their radio is far far superior than anything in this country including the BBC . The diversity, innovation & quality of local radio puts ours to shame Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Pretty decent start. Certainly better than the last saints one I subscribed to. My only feedback would be that there's a bit too much agreement on certain things. I was shouting at my phone when one guy said Cortese didn't sell players, when in fact he sold the only one he received a decent offer for (AOC). I just felt it could get a bit bland with 2 blokes from the same era just agreeing with each other. The other point I would make is to be careful with 2 players on at once. Personally I find all these buddy buddy chats can get a bit boring. I hope you take these observations in the spirit they're intended , as I do wish you well, and it's certainly better than anything I could do. But the best political podcasts I listen to are the ones where contrasting points of view are put and I'm sure it'll be the same here ( provided it's not fake). Puel, Forster, Reid, Cortese, divide opinion and to some a draw is a good result, whereas others don't think that way.If you could reflect this in the podcast it would be great IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Have you watched Newnight lately? I presume you'll be posting your pious views on the streaming thread, or is it ok to " free ride" on Murdoch's investments. Wouldn't surprise me as consistency isn't your strong suit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah, and assorted lefties defend it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What a load of pony. It's blinkered 1950's thinking like that which keeps the NHS in permanent crisis. As for the BBC, it's not a patch on HBO and other commercial broadcasters because it's become fat and lazy due to public money. Contrast the awful state of local radio compared to The US and you see what guaranteed money does. No matter, the licence fee will be obsolete within a decade. We will get all our tv off the Internet, and they'll be great innovators who'll get it for us for free. Like football on sky sports now, only mugs will pay the going rate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. He's not commanded his area , come for crosses , kicked with any accuracy or got down low quickly since he's been here. He's either been injured since day one or is not quite good enough, I know which my money's on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Whether it's good value or not is irrelevant . It's whether you should pay for it if you don't watch or listen to it. If I suggested a national newspaper that you had to pay for, even if you only wanted to read the guardian or mail , you would think I'm bonkers . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The whole day we were like a noddy club. Supporters enjoying their day out as "little Southampton " were patted on the head & there to make up the numbers. Personally I thought we were way too negative & didn't do ourselves justice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'll have a listen whilst walking the dog Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. 2003 was a let down. WGS showed a complete and utter lack of any sort of ambition and the whole day was a "glad to make the final" type of day. Sunday was different , we gave it a go and the loss was felt way way more IMO . 2003 felt like we were a bunch of tourists whereas Sunday we were like a proper football club come to compete. One thing for sure is that this needs to be the start, rather than the end. We should aim for 3 finals in the next 5 years. Perfectly achievable, provided we take them seriously at every stage. 22. It's a poll tax on TV owners. If it's as good as people make out, they'll pay for it via a subscription. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. It's a ****ing joke in this day & age. Should be a subscription service, if you want to watch it then pay for it. However, if you just want to watch sky & itv you should be able to opt out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Missing both goals to drink shocking beer makes you a bit of a mug as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. On The Game , the podcast from the times Gab Marcotti said its was good old fashioned scouting from Southampton. Said we looked beyond the stats, looked at the reasons he wasn't getting much of a game and realised we could give him the platform he needed. Said he's talented but other wouldn't take a chance , because he's had a lull. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
