Maybe we should just nuke the twts , it worked with the Japanese. It'll also do them a favour as they'll get to meet these virgins with all their mates together .
  2. Don't normally watch tennis but was drawn to watch by my lads constant shouting . The English chick played so well , but Williams is something else . 3-0 and serving was a big moment as was when she was 40-love up and lost the game . I would watch it a lot more if it wasn't for the plums in the crowd . Wimbledon has to be the most annoying crowd in the history of sport .

The RAF were wrong to bomb Germany, they could have killed poor old William Joyce .
  4. Now footballers are paid such unbelievable amounts of money the local area is pretty irrelevant (accept for London ) . They'll be able to live in a fantastic area in a fantastic house within travelling distance of any club . Southampton and surrounding area was an attraction when they still had to be a little bit careful with their money.
  5. Spot on
  6. Look at twitter
  7. Typical of this country , mass over reaction . We lost , what's heroic about losing . We lose in a quater final and it's unacceptable but lose in a semi and it's all out of proportion . I just hope there's not a repeat of the 1990 nonsense of an open top bus heroes return , it's just embarrassing . I've seen the winning goal and there was nothing " unlucky" about it. It was poor defending and poor technique . I feel sorry for the chick , but it really was poor.
  8. I'm not watching this shiete as I'm working late . However I see on Twitter that there was a blantant dive for a peno . Thank god for that , now all the metro sexuals going on about how much more sporting the birds are and there's no arguing, diving, blah blah blah will stfu .
  9. Marcotti on The Times podcast said that lovren just reverted to how he was at previous club . He claimed that last season at Liverpool wasn't an exception , the good season at Southampton was .
  10. Correct. This " send the Brits home" is complete and utter nonsense. I was in Cyprus recently and there's plenty of Russians living there. How many Americans are there in France or Australians in the UK, how man Swiss work in Germany ? My son completed a piece of paper and is now working in Australia. You don't need to be in the EU to live or work abroad, its just a scare story put about by euro nutters like ken Clarke.
  11. To have monetary union without fiscal union will always lead to this. The Euro is a disaster for all but a handful of northern European nations , to have The Greeks, Portuguese and Spanish in monetary union with the Dutch & Germans is madness. The EU have caused unbelievable misery to the Greeks with this vanity project , a project that was doomed from the start. You'll not find a British politician admitting to wanting Britain to join the EU ( although there were plenty) , but you'll not find any of the Establishment against the principle of the euro . With their little Englander approach they were perfectly happy for the Greeks to **** themselves provided we werent in it . People like Redwood & Cash were against the principle of the Euro across the whole of Europe and these people have been proved right. It is incredibly unstable to have the Greeks in this state . I've been to Greece many times and the people are fantastic, they do not deserve to suffer this madness inflicted on them for ideological reasons. Whatever happens they're in for a couple more years of real pain, but if they can control their own currency they'll bounce back quicker . They'll then become a model for Cyprus and the Portuguese to follow suit and hopefully the whole damn house of straw will collapse and the people of Europe can govern themselves again.
  12. In what way is it arrogance to identify a player they want to sign and bid for him. They can bid for whoever they want. What do you want them to do, run any potential signings by you?
  13. Do people think les read and the rest are a load of bumbling half bakes . " Why cant we bid the same as spurs" ect, ect. I've no doubt we've been in Toby's ear all season, explored the possibility of making the loan permanent in Jan ,and have tried to get the deal done early doors this summer. However, the cards are all in AM's favour and there's such a thing as flogging a dead horse. Once he played well last season we were always going to struggle to get him back. Its pretty obvious that the 6 clubs that finished above us pay more money than us in wages. Why on earth would he turn down spurs and more money to play for us? If spurs want him they'll get him. I'm going to take the approach I did when a chick dumped me, and tell my spurs supporting work colleagues that I'm glad he didn't sign for us and was over rated anyway.
  14. Can I be the first to say; This has nothing to do with Islam and it's a peaceful religion. Also like to add that had white loons shot up the beach we wouldnt ask other whiteys to condemn or apologise for it. Stand down Daily Fail readers, nothing to see here.
  15. Last year was completely different because we had just lost Nicola a few months earlier & had lost the manager as well. The club captain and talisman both left along with 2 great prospects and what most fans considered our best centre half. It was pretty much the spine of the side, and don't forget Jose did not sign a new contract early in the summer. I know the press get some clog on here, but what happened was pretty unusual.Turns out the board & Kat managed the situation brilliantly , and Ron turned out to be a brilliant appointment. It was pretty obvious that Morgan would leave and although losing NC is a blow, this is the only time we'll get decent money for him because of his contract situation. Toby was never our player and if he performed well will attract interest from others wanting to get him in. Unfortunately money talks and others pay more. Personally I hope we have meltdown every summer, that next year Ron is linked with moves along with victor, Jose & Mane . It'll mean we've had another cracking season.
  16. Correct . It's supply and demand . If you increase the supply of labour you keep wages down . When the state then subsidies low wages it makes the situation even worse. Add to that the artificial " benchmark" of a minimum wage people can't even live on , and you end up with a low wage economy and increased gap between rich & poor . Lefties created this problem , but seem oblivious to it . I guess they think people in work but still needing welfare is a good thing . The Tories need to grow some balls and sort it out . Put an end to unskilled immigration and put the minimum wage up to a level where people working don't need benefit . Tax credits aren't a handout to the worker , they're a subsidy to the employer. Without low skilled immigrants and tax credits how would Tesco attract people to work for them? By paying them more, that's how.
  17. Nonsense , no chance of winning the league even with those 2 .
  18. I remember when spurs itk posted poch was a done deal. They even posted a photo of him turning up for talks and some of our experts on here said it was pony
  19. Fry's wife sent me a PM asking for help .
  20. I'd take him on loan as part of any deal for NC. Maybe till Jan , with the option of a extension till end of season. He'd give the place a buzz, give us another option and maybe even show Brenda up. Wages will obviously be an issue, they'd have to fund some of it. And provided he hasnt turn into bill big balls , dont see what there is to lose. Rickie going all out to prove Brenda wrong and maybe earn a final contract at the club who defined his career , could work short term, even if it just puts a rocket up Pelles arse.
  21. I hope so, I thought we should have taken him following Norwich's relegation.
  22. When was the last time Liverpool finished below us? People also seem to be overlooking players natural ego and confidence . You have to have absolute 100% belief to be a top flight player. These guys (and this is no criticism of NC) believe theyre the best. NC won't be sat there thinking " no chance of Liverpool making top 4 , I won't sign" . In his head he'll believe a couple of signings as good as him and we'll crack it. He'll convince himself he's the final piece in the jigsaw. Add to that Brenda will be telling him how good he is, how he will fit in, and how close they are to the top 4 and NC can really make the difference . These guys don't do self doubt, they cant do they'd get eaten alive at the top level .
  23. Let's for the sake of argument compare him signing a new saints contract to a Liverpool one , let's say 4 years . Forget the money , you said career wise. In 4 years will he play in champions league for Liverpool ? Maybe, proberly not. Saints? Absolutely no chance whatsoever . Will he win a cup or two at Liverpool , quite a good chance of that. Maybe even the Europa league , with us? Unlikely Will we finish above Liverpool durian ing those 4 years ? Doubt it, when was the last time this happened. Will England pick him more if he plays for Liverpool ? There's a number of posts saying yes, but we really don't know . I'd edge towards yes . In those 4 years will Brenda and Ron still be manager of both clubs , highly unlikely . Which sort of manager will Liverpool attract compared to us. Klopp maybe, Rafa again, would managers of that ilk come to saints? I'm prepared to be persuaded otherwise , but in what way will his career not be improved by swapping Southampton for Liverpool . The only benefit I can see from him not doing so is that maybe a top 4 club will come in for him this time next year. So why on earth would signing a new contract be better for his career than not signing one, or leaving for Liverpool ? Maybe his career will stall at Liverpool , but it could stall for us . Whose to say Lovren wouldn't have been shiete for us this year , there were signs at spurs and Sunderland that he had a rickett in him. I'm not anti saints, I love the club . But if He was my nipper and a top 4 club didn't want him , Liverpool would be my choice over saints for his career.
  24. Don't talk nonsense man . It may not improve his career as much as going to Chelsea , Arsenal or Manchester clubs , but if you don't think Liverpool is an upgrade on Southampton , you're deluded . Did James Milner go to Liverpool for the money ? Strange if he did , because didn't city offer him more to stay . He went because he knows he isn't a top 4 regular and Liverpool are far and away the next best option after that . I doubt if there's one neutral who doesn't think Liverpool is a big step up from us career wise.
