  1. Laughable stuff from Whelk. Quotes the FT, the very same FT that was the euro cheerleader & as late as 2015 was still claiming it was better for us to join. Wrong then-wrong now .
  2. **** me , Europhile paper using Europhile treasury line, and Europhile posters posting it like its gospel. Andrew Neil read out the treasury forecast for an immediate downturn & economic shock following a VOTE TO LEAVE , (note , not when we leave but following a vote to leave as he had to point out time and time again to his dopey Europhile guest) on DP today . Why should we believe anything these chumps say, wrong then - wrong now
  3. The EC ensures that each state is important and that policies broadly help the whole country. If you just elected Presidents on the popular vote, you can win with the large urban areas meaning certain groups and areas get screwed, long term this is unsustainable as the "left behinds" will get even more left behind. It's the exact same reason I'm against FPTP. Had we had a pure PR system the past 100 years , I doubt we'd have ended up with a Scottish Parliament . 5 million voters is nothing whereas 50+ parliamentary seats can bring real pressure to bare.
  4. Lol , what's Timmys response to that?
  5. Course he doesn't. He still hasn't accepted the outcome of Brexit,so you've no chance of him accepting Trumps win. He's one of those that respects democracy provided the "right" side wins
  6. The Fedeal records act requires all Governemnt communication be recorded on Governemnt servers , it also forbids the use of a personal email account for Government business . Therefore I don't quite see what you think is " comical" .
  7. **** me that's rich , you've spent months crying about how the oldies deprived you of your beloved EU.
  8. The bloke posts a decent analysis, and from the US ,& a couple of leftie clowns jump all over him.
  9. Interesting insight , particularly the bit about the GOP. Trump isn't that much of a Republican anyway so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out. The fascinating thing for me is seeing if he can maintain the facade of being an outsider whilst getting things done in Washington.
  10. Wonder who the first European politician The Donald will meet as Pres elect.
  11. At this stage last season we had Mane Pelle Juanmi This season we have Austin Boufal Redmond So we clearly have replaced the players that have left . Whether they are good enough replacements is open to debate, what isn't, is whether we have replaced them or not. Personally I think Austin will score as many goals as Pelle. Redmond is clearly better than Juanmi and at the moment Mane is clearly better than Boufal. However lets judge Boufal when he's fit and compare him to Mane in a Southampton shirt , not Mane in a Liverpool shirt.
  12. Don't worry Fry , we've the top man on the job. From tomorrow's telegraph "Ministers will use Nigel Farage as an unofficial intermediary to build bridges with Donald Trump to ensure the “special relationship” does not falter in the wake of his election. The Telegraph understands that ministers will be forced to seek Mr Farage’s advice because they have no links to the President-elect’s inner circle." "Downing Street said that during the call, Mr Trump said that the UK is a “very, very special place for me and for our country” and suggested that he wants their relationship to be similar to the one enjoyed by Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan."
  13. Looking forward to QT tonight, the sight of lefties crying and whinging from the audience will be great viewing.
  14. What is it with lefties , so called " progressives " & trendy youngsters? They lecture the rest of us on morals, humanity & respect but are totally incapable of embracing the very thing that underpins society , democracy. It only seems to apply when the "right" side wins.
  15. Spot on. Democracy is a wonderful thing
  16. Looks like we're heading to the front of queue
  17. Don't worry the election is only advisory and they should have another one
  18. He's gonna do it. If I was a bricklayer I'd get my CV sent into the white house tomorrow
  19. Florida called for trump , unbelievable.
  20. Grief counselors are on their way over to the bbc at this very moment
  21. 3.20am & we could be facing a leftie meltdown. Forget about Kim K flashing her pussy to break the internet, Twitter will be in meltdown if trump does it. Looks like he's got Ohio , Wisconsin & New Hampshire & winning FLA wow
  22. He's never really been a keeper that you think " how the **** did he save that " ( except Arsenal away last year) , equally he never makes complete howlers. I always seem to think " could be have got that" , with nearly every goal he lets in. I'm sure he couldn't have done , but he does look pretty static when he lets one in . His peno attempts are woeful as well . The thing you can never tell unless you're a top pro or coach is how many efforts are missed or screwed up because he's such a big bloke who fills up the goal.Because of this its maybe best to go with our keeper coach who has a good reputation in the game. If Watson rates him, that's good enough for me.
  23. I would hope than anyone commenting on a thread discussing the economy would know what the service sector is. I didn't say ' no services in the single market " I said there's no single market in services, which is an entirely different thing .
