I guess they don't have bar code readers on their turnstiles and that's why they won't issue duplicates . 40 years of going and I'm yet to lose a ticket despite plenty of booze ups beforehand , I'm just hoping this won't be the first , as I'm on the **** in Poole all day beforehand .

Pathetic lies yet again . Why don't the EU nutters ever show principle , why don't they ever defend their beloved Union . Europeans tell the truth , they know what the EU is and accept it . Our Pro EU politicians just use smoke & mirrors .

Transfer Deadline Day Thread

More pony from the Little Europeans. When we sign TTIP agreement with The US does that give their citizens free movement into the EU. Do Australians or Canadians have free movement , do they trade with the EU without it? The simple fact of the matter is that Norway & Switzerland have done a deal with the EU that suits them . Just because their sovereign parliaments accept free movement does not mean that the 5th largest economy in the world has to accept the same terms . The British Parliament could allow free movement of Americans or Canadians into the UK and when we leave the EU our sovereign parliament could allow free movement of EU citizens . However , we will have the right to chuck the government out and it'll be a UK only decision . What we won't have is the pathetic sight of a UK prime minister going round Poland , Hungrey and the like , begging them to allow us to tweak OUR benefits . How on earth can you be called an independent country when you can't decide who receives your taxpayers money or even decide who can and can't enter your country .

Dear God , did that labour women in QT just say the most important factor in referendum was cheap phone calls & queues at the airport. She then compared Cologne incident to blokes wolf whistling chicks on a Friday in Brum .

If you can not see the difference between a war fought to protect British interests or British Allies, with a war fought following an invasion of our territory, then you really shouldn't be posting on this thread . Whether Iraq or Kosovo is worth a single soldiers life is debatable , chucking the Argies out is not . You can not roll over and let foreign powers take our territory by force and if that unfortunately leads to people losing their lives , that price has to be paid. What message would the giving up on Falkland Islanders have sent to the rest of the world

You don't half spout some nonsense . Living in Poole , home of the SBS & a big marine camp , you meet lots of vets ( not that any admit to being SB ) as many stay in the area when they're times up . I've met & got friendly or worked with dozens and dozens over the years , including one who was one of the 22 originally on south Georgia ( he even wrote a book about it ) and despite losing friends , not one ever complained that it was not worth it . They were protecting UK lives & Uk territory , simple as that . If you're going to start letting foreign governments kill our citizens and invade our territories because they may not kill many , or the population is low , or some daft lefties think they shouldn't be part of our great nation then you'll end up with even greater trouble than we have now . What would make them angry is if lefties like you made their sacrifice meaningless by handing the islands to the Argies just because of some warped political dogma .

I want them to go through after a tiring reply , then next round , right up to losing on pens in a 1/4 final reply . With that & the weather theyll need to play about 9 games in 3 weeks come the end of the season . Obviously I hope the cup games are at poxy little grounds where they get little money from it . I can put up with the delusional " cup fever " if it means another year in Div 4

Maybe this is his level because he's not good enough for the premier league .

Don't talk nonsense man .

He wouldn't have made it on the ballot with the present threshold without the biggest suicide mission in modern politics . People who didn't want him to win , didn't vote for him , " lent " him their nomination .

Syrian or non Syrian , surely once they're in France they become economic migrants trying to reach the uk rather than Aslyum seekers fleeing persecution and or war . I always thought our NATO & EU ally was a safe haven.

length of contract doesn't really mean **** all when it comes to managers , it's the terms and length of any severance that's the key . Pardew had an 8 year contract with Newcastle but if it was written in that they could sack him and pay him up a years money , he is ineffective on a rolling 1 year contract . I also very much doubt Palace had to pay Newcastle anymore than if he was on a one year rolling contract . I think a one year rolling contract with a low severance deal for both sides would be a pretty good comprimise really . Ron seems to attract players because of who he is and going into his last year creates a little bit of uncertainty. Would VvD have signed if he thought Ron was off this summer?

Greek Islands - which one is best?
Lord Duckhunter replied to the saint in winchester's topic in The Lounge
I would have said Kos , I think it's a wonderful island . Don't know what the situation is there now . Crete is nice , hippy beach Matala is one of my favourite beaches . Wherever you go the Greeks are wonderful hosts . -
So it looks like this ridiculously over paid flop , is hanging out for more money rather than a move to further his career . Doesn't quite tie in with the Gastonettes assertion that he really tries hard & is clearly talented . He's been nicking a living off us for years & thankfully we only have 6 more months to put up with the useless lump . Why doesn't he sign for them with a clause to double his money based on certain criteria ? After all , the Gastonettes keep telling us that he's suited to the Italian game .

Like he was for Hull last season , how did his " efforts" there go?

Just watched Catch up & saw Andrew Neil take this neuclear subs using conventional weapons guff apart in an interview with Posh Emily Thornbury . She then became the third shadow cabinet minister ( according to him ) to invite him to contribute to a " review" . Every time he gets them in a muddle they resort to this " review" of a particular policy line .

The Corbynistas need to understand this simple fact . To gain a majority they need to win Tory seats . Racking up votes and increasing support in Islington & other leftie enclaves won't win them 1 extra seat , well maybe Brighton Pavilon , but thats it . They do remind me of the famous Michael Foot story , he refused to believe opinion polls because everywhere he went he was mobbed, praised & cheered to the rafters . Jezza has engaged thousands of people , but NONE of them voted Tory at the last election .

Is Ronald Koeman the highest-merited manger in the Prem.?
Lord Duckhunter replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
I maybe a boring twt but this has always fascinated me . The transition from player to manager and how good you have to be . One of the biggest surprises in my football watching life is George Graham's Arsenal , anyone who saw George as a player would find it hard to equate that classy skilful player with the way he managed his sides . I always think managers that felt they underachieved as a player ( whether through injury or lack of ability ) have the drive that makes them s great manager . Cloughie being the real example as he had his career cut short . Maybe lawrie felt the same , as even to play at the semi professional level he played , you need to be decent . I never saw him play , but my Fulham supporting grandad said Bobby Robson was a really good player . As for saints , Bally was a great player as was Souness & Koeman . Personally , I think Souness was the best player , but Bally was a Saints player whereas the other 2 weren't. I still miss the guy , what a player , and what a guy . Legend -
100% in agreement. It would be mad to tie him to a new deal , especially before Ron signs one . Another manager might not fancy him and any new deal will be for a large wedge . In some ways his situation is similar to Rickies and it maybe time to cash in . It certainly won't be " meltdown " if we do

I thought Ryan B had a fantastic game. When I saw the side I assumed he'd play left mid in front of Matty T , but the way Ron set them up worked perfectly against their front 2 . Pleased for Targett , played well particularly first half , still a long way to go for the lad but he really did look the part . Agree with the comments about Big Vic being left but against WBA , itll be interesting to see what Ron does about it . Pelles slightly different he could change formation & play Pelle & Long or even drop Mane for Pelle , but to break up the Classie,Davis, OR midfield would be really disappointing

Could be a Bompey v skate cup game

The Blair/ Brown years were pure smoke & mirrors . PFI, minimum wage so low as to be meaningless , ridiculous spread of tax credits , devolution without addressing the west lothian question , overspending during a boom . Their chickens have well and truly came home to roost. I'm not saying this lot are any better as they're also shying away from the fundamental reforms needed , whilst pretending they are doing so. The public would not vote for a returning Blair anymore than they'd vote for Jeremy Steptoe .

I can't see Levy making it as easy to buy him out of his contract as Cortese did with his Saints contract . I'm sure he'll be tied down quite tightly & it'll cost them a few quid . Not that they're lacking money , but are they really going to battle/ cough up for a rookie ( never managed in champions league , never won anything ) . They also won't chuck Giggs overboard and Poch seems to have a gang of buddies he carries with him . The massive clubs will want to see how he handles superstars before they employ him. He's done a pretty decent job at Spurs & with us ,but managing that level of player ,is a long way from managing players that are more important to the club than the manager himself .
