All I can see is a large % of young men . I'd take every under 16 & every women , provided the men of fighting age get trained up , armed and sent back to liberate their country . Who is going to rebuild these countries if all the young men have emigrated to Europe ?

The Dublin convention is an EU agreement written in EU law , I couldn't give a flying **** what the EU defines as a refugee . The people in Calais could walk into a police station and claim asylum , in fact your beloved Dublin convention states that is what they must do .But they don't , they are safe & they could live in better conditions but choose not to . Why don't you save your sympathy for people who are unsafe , are in danger every day of their lives , rather than people who prefer to live in the uk rather than France , Italy or Greece .

He's not as good as some on here make out , and no that's not because he left us . Sometimes it's the " perfect storm",a player is at a club that's perfect for him . Maybe he hasn't got the balls or confidence to play at a big club , maybe being a big fish at little old Southampton suited him perfectly. It'll all depend on the Jose situation . We can't sell VvD at the same time as Jose or at the same time Jose's performance dips and he needs replacing . We will probably go with a new guy & VvD next season & then let VvD go the following one .
