We heard the same scare stories if we didn't enter the euro.

Some people are deluded . Liverpool is a big step up from us , we've just had our best season for over 20 years , 7th . Liverpool managers will get the sack for that . When was the last time we finished above Liverpool ?

They've been wrong about everything . People like Redwood were against the euro , saying it would end in disaster . Saying you can't have currency union without fiscal union , but euro nutters wouldn't have it. Now of course their all against the euro for the Uk , but that's not the point . The euro is wrong for Europe , but NO europhille will ever say that . The pro euro side have been wrong about every single EU issue , yet we are meant to listen to them again ?

The same people and major companies saying there will be meltdown if we leave the EUSSR were claiming the same thing if we didn't join the euro . The left were always opposed to the EU because they knew it was great for " The man" and big corporate interests and against the working man , hense Foot & Benns opposition . What happened was the left realised that the EU was more leftie and socialist than the uk public , so abandoned the working man for leftieism via the back door . The Tories have always been for it because it serves big business , so we end up with the perfect storm .

He's not a top 4 player, but then we're not a top 4 club. Good honest pro who is a good squad player for a club sitting between 5th & 12th. Always gives 100% and scores some decent goals , although not nearly enough. If he could finish regularly he'd be at a bigger club than ours.

You're doing what all EUphiles do , you're somehow mistaking Europe for the EU. The EU is not Europe , I am very pro Europe . I love France , find the Greeks lovely people and admire the German work ethic . It is a fantastic place , and I love spending time in Portugal , Spain , and other countries . Being anti EU is not being anti Europe no matter how many times the EU apologists say it . And anyway we've heard all this nonsense before . The same nutters trying to scare us now said the same things about being outside the ERM & then The Euro. Those worked out well didn't they ?

If you think being in the EUSSR is responsible for changing our eating habits and getting rid of the bland food , you're clearly deluded. The world is shrinking and influences from all other the world have changed our diet. It has **** all to do with the EU. It also makes we wonder how we ever managed to become a world power without political union with the Greeks and Belgians . How did we ever trade with all these shoddy goods we used to produce. Thanks EUSSR without you, we aren't capable of eating nice food or of making anything worthwhile, we can not manage on our own. Let's become the 17th constituent state of Germany as we're clearly too stupid to cook or make things anyone wants to buy. Because Grocer Heath and Wilson helped the unions screw the country in the 70's we will be forever in the EUSSR's debt for taking pity on our small insignificant island and allowed us into their great state.

But society doesn't treat them as adults . They are unable to drink , to drive, to get married without Mummy's permission and although they can join the army can not fight on the front line. My view is very simple , once society deems you old enough to do all the basic things , drink, marry at will, drive, ect , then you're old enough to vote.

He's failed in 3 English seasons, totally and utterly failed under 4 different managers . He also earns somewhere north of 50k a week . He's had plenty of time to impress in England whilst the other 2 have had about 5 months and I doubt if they earn anywhere near the same money . We've basically had a try before you buy deal on both, such a shame we didn't have the same for Gaston . Hull did and I doubt if they'd be keeping him even if they stayed up. I don't know why Djuricic is getting lumped in with Elia and getting so much stick. He's not really had much of a chance, certainly nowhere near as many chances as Gaston , and has yet to have a preseason . Cost permitting I think he could be OK , but whatever happens he won't be the monumental waste of money Gaston was.

If you notice it's only the established parties and politicians that make a big deal out of it . Watch QT or Daily Politics , every time immigration is mentioned the liblabcon politicians bring up clamping down on benefit tourists and minimum wage explotation . UKIP and people who want out never really mention it as an issue . As far as immigration is concerned it is a side issue, but as they can't do anything about the main issue ( the free movement of people ) they try and distract people with this nonsense. The EU will never budge on the free movement of people, but would be willing to compromise around welfare to keep us " onside" .

I'll always be grateful for Pelles goals and performances this season and for steadying the ship after all the departures , however if we want to continue to move forward we need to get rid . Personally , I don't think he's got enough movement , particularly down the channels . I think we'd get more out of Mane with more movement and switching of positions like we did last year . Pelle just plays stright down the middle . In not saying Austin is the answer as I'm not convinced by him . Maybe a loan move for that Wilson at Utd or Bamford if Boro don't go up . But I don't want JRod and Mane having to play down the flanks because Pelle is incapable of moving from the middle third . We need 3 up top , who can switch around and interchange whilst moving the centre halves about . I hate to say it but the way we played up front last year is the way to go. Although Lambert is as immobile as pelle , he used to drift out wide, pick passes and find space , pelle is like something out of the 1980's

It's very simple . A fundamental principle of the EU is that the host country treats all EU citizens equally , and by equally they make no distinction between " home" citizens and " immigrants ". As our benefits are based on need not contribution a Greek working in the Uk is entitled to as many in work benefits as you or me . If our benefits are more generous than other EU members , we will pay more to immigrants than they do. To give the EU credit, this policy is entirely consistent with the free movement of people and the principle of a federal Europe . Does Texas limit benefits to New Yorkers or do The Scots limit benefits to Welsh workers . The inconsistent ones here are the liar politicians who instead of sticking up for what they believe in and what they signed up for , try and pull the wool over our eyes. So basically the reason we need EU permission is because we signed away the right to limit benefits to UK subjects years ago. In the interests of balance I would point out that if you moved to Poland you would be entitled to the same right to benefit as the local population .

I'm sure Liverpool supporters will point to games they should have won, spurs lost some home games they should win. At the end of the day 1 point in head to head games against spurs and Liverpool are what has cost us, we weren't good enough to beat them. We are the 7th best team this season, end of.
