  1. Leaders always have to have a " close " relationship with other leaders . The Kennedys were profoundly anti British. However the point I'm making was that saying the Kennedys were Irish and that affected their view of the U.K. seems acceptable , but substituting Ireland for Kenya isn't .
  2. This
  3. The Kennedys were anti British because of their Irish background . What's the difference ?
  4. Lol , I'm beginning to wonder whether you really understand what's going on. You make the Leave point exactly, but believe you're making a remain case.
  5. In response to a remain clown stating that Turkey will never join , I pointed out that had somebody claimed in 1975 that Poland would join ( and therefore gain free movement for Poles) , they would have been laughed out of court . But that is exactly what happened , proving that any claims that Turkey will never join are just hot air , and that the remain people have absolutely no idea what the EU will look like in future years . Its really not that hard to understand , although you do seem to be struggling.
  6. Are those the fiscal requirements that Greece & Italy met?
  7. Nonsense , he bored everyone to death , waffling on about a load of pony . Loved it when he said " do you want to gamble the future " and a loads of them shouted yes . Someone at the bbc is going to be hauled over the carpet tomorrow , how did they end up with some many leavers . The number of times he made some grandstanding point , sat back waiting for the applause , only to be greeted with silance . Anyway people can watch it in catch up and judge for themselves . Hopefully the Remain side are if he same opinion as you , think he did well and put him on the media more . He really is a crushing bore , terribly condescending and easy to portray as an establishment lackey My faith in the British people doing the right thing was waning , but the Exeter audiance have me a little bit more hope . Plus seeing remain use Pantsdown , cheered me up . I loved election night when the know all , got it wrong ( although he wouldn't eat his hat ). The thought of him Boy George , Cleggy , Chuka bottler and the rest of them crying in their champagne will be s joy to behold
  8. Lol Pantsdown getting monstered by the audience on QT tonight . Let's see more of him, he's a great assest for leave
  9. You really are a plank . The point being made was how much the Common Market changed in 40 years. It was unthinkable that Poland would ever join , so it's perfectly reasonable to say Turkey is likely to , particularly when EU leaders are pushing it .
  10. Those Turks , they must be real dumb mother****ers . Fancy falling for Cameron & the EU's deal , when everybody can see its "politics" . The talks regarding "re-energising " their membership set for early July will be a bundle of laughs for them , or are the EU going to go on pretending they're talking about their membership , but not really meaning it ( dumb ass Turks will fall for that one ) . Incidentally , interesting start date for the " re-energising " talks isn't it? Once you mugs have voted remain , the "re-energising " talks can start at pace .
  11. What complete and utter rubbish . The left has had a long and principled opposition to the EU, and still does have . To try and claim they're are exploiting it for some sort of grubby reason shows ignorance beyond belief.
  12. Cameron said he'd fight for turkeys membership and said the EU was stronger with turkey in both & 2010 & 2015 Every EU member has signed a deal stating that turkeys mermbership will be “re-energised" , they will also get Visa free access to most of The EU. In 1975 you would be laughed at if you claimed Romania & Poland would be joining in future.
  13. I did enjoy it . Funny how the rest of Hoeys answer was left off your clip , and the monstering Neil gave the Remainain over Georges dodgy dossier . Perhaps you should watch the whole programme . Anyway Hoey is one person , the treasury document is supposed to be a serious analysis . Perhaps you'll also answer why a model of household income never used before was used ( as I said it would equate to over 60k per household now) and how any economic model can have credibility when they've taken a growth forecast for 2030, immigration forecasts for 2030 (185k year on year) but kept the number of households at 2016 levels . **** me , there's going to be some crowded houses if we stay in . If remain had such a good case why use dodgy statistics
  14. This Treasury report is laughable . Andrew Neil took it apart on Daily Politics today . They guess GDP over a decade ahead , despite the fact that they couldn't predict GDP 2 years ahead 2 years ago. They have never measured household income by the dividing GDP before , if they did that now the average household income would be over 60k, a laughable figure. Even if you accept that ludicrous equation you would have thought they'd take 2030's GDP and divide it by the estimated number of households, but no , despite estimating the number of households ( and accepting immigration will rise by 185k per year) they have divided the 2030 GDP estimate by the number of households in 2016. It's nonsense like this that leads to distrust in Government figures , unfortunately there are not enough Andrew Neil's to pick apart this sort of propaganda.
  15. Spurs games really depend on state of season . Chelsea will be tough as they wont want to lose a local derby . If we're still in with a shout of Europa , that'll be tough and I wouldn't want to go to Newcastle with them needing something to stay up .
  16. In 2010 Cameron said he supported Turkeys membership and said he would campaign for it. In 2014 Cameron said the Eu would be stronger with turkey in and would support their membership In 2016 the whole of eu signed a deal with turkey that agreed to "re-energise" Turkey's bid to join the European bloc, with talks due by July. In view of the above , you are talking nonsense .
  17. They won at WHL , when spurs bottled the big game. The league is 9 months, not 9 weeks. The league winners will be the best team , end of
  18. Agreed , they clearly are the best . 5 points ahead of Leicester , unbeaten against them in the league and even won at the King Power.....
  19. You can't suspend collective responsibility & then say " The Government ". " The majority of the Government "or "members of The Government " should be used. In the coalition they would use " the Tory members of the government " in the event of a split . You have to have collective responsibility to use " the government believes ".
  20. Taxpayer funded spending should be equal . A general election is slightly different as its not a two sided thing . You can't have the tax payer bunging the monster raving loons or the lib/dumbs the same dosh as serious parties. The government have a view & taken a side , that side should get the same tax payers money as the other side . 3 leaflets delivered to every home , 1 from each side & an explanation from the electrol commission sounds pretty reasonable to me , and to the rest of the country I would imagine .
  21. The issue isn't the content of the leaflet , or even the fact one was sent . It's the fact that the government went against advise from the electrol commission and the fact they spent £9million extra of tax payers money . Each side get one leaflet and there's going to be one from the electrol commission setting out the process . If the government put out a leaflet one week prior to the purdah period before a general election , a leaflet claiming all sorts of government facts I'm sure you'll be one of the first to complain . How is one side spending an extra £9 million of taxpayers money , money denied to the other side, fair ?
  22. There's no Barca version of Rupert Lowe to make the appointment
  23. There's about as much chance of mp managing Barca as Matt Le Tiss managing the skates .
  24. Reid was on a yellow for a pretty poor challenge , he then made a foul down the touch line as bad as Vardys first yellow and Moss didn't issue second yellow
  25. Everyone going on about Vardy diving seem to overlook the complete & utter joke of the first yellow . Had Mane ( another diver) been sent off for those 2 yellows this place would be in meltdown . Moss was shocking , it's not in the refs gift to suddenly decide someone needs a yellow to take the sting out of the game , after he's let worse ones go without booking anyone . It's not in the refs gift to overlook pulling in the box & then warn the centre halves " do it again and I'll give a pen" . Henry & Heskey saying the one on Huth wasn't a peno because he'd let Huth have 2 " free" tug backs without giving a pen and hadn't warned West Ham back 4. What a load of pony , if it's a pen it's a pen . You can't give pens using a totting up procees . Really poor , no way a pen at the end either , laughable. As for the bitterness against Leicester , **** me , what a bunch of bitter twts . It's a great story , they fully deserve it . Instead of crying about how poor the league is , we should take a bit of heart that anything is possible in the next few years . Just because it wasn't us that upset the applecart doesn't suddenly make it an easy league to win . I ****ing hope city become champions of Europe to ram it down you miserable sods throats , mind you you'll probarly complain Barca are shiete this year .
