What worried me about yesterday wasn't our lack of creativity , but a lack of fight. We've seen that sort of game over & over again at The Dell . This time we were the complacent side that didn't want to get their hands dirty & Boscombe the hungry, hardworking side determined to knock us down a peg or two. Eddie Howe clearly had them set up & prepared & we weren't . When an average player like Surman is allowed to run the midfield, when their average centre halves are playing with cigars , there's something clearly wrong .

Here's an idea , each party could produce a manifesto . Labours could include a working time directive , holiday pay, labelling on foodf , " car crash standards ", during the election Wiggy Neil and other paid political questioners could ask the Tories about their plans in these areas. The Tory manifesto could contain other ideas. Then, and this maybe a bit radical for a remainian , the BRITISH people could decide . We could then hold the government to account and maybe vote them out if they want to cut these social provisions . Instead of Poland, Malta & Cyprus holding our hand and deciding these things for us, our Parliament could dfo it. It really is amazing how we managed before the EU isn't it?

How do Australia, Canada, New Zealand & other countries manage without the wonderful EU to make sure their cars are safe, their food is labelled properly and their appliances efficiency labelled . Their citizens must be at risk of food poisoning daily & their roads death traps.They probably all work 80 hour weeks. I bet they wish they had Poland & Romania keeping them safe at night . What mugs legislating their own laws .

There won't be much round Boscombe or Pokesdown that'll let you in without showing a home ticket . Not that that's a bad thing there's no decent pubs about anyway . I'd go into town , there's a big whetherspoons on the square , also the Goat & Tricycle at the triangle if you like real ale ( although be careful you don't go in the wrong pub up there , unless you're that way inclined ). If you're a lager drinker there's plenty of boozers from Lansdowne down to town that are walking distance from train station ( but away from ground so you'll need a taxi or bus ) . We're starting off in Poole , followed by Ashley Cross ( parkstone train station) , far better pubs than near the ground , but maybe quiet on a tues afternoon. Only 10 mins from Pokesdown or Bournemouth station by train , so plenty of drinking time

Makes me laugh the " morals" supporters have when it comes to cheating . Technically what Costa did was unsporting but wasn't cheating . Diving , deliberate trips, shirt pulling , appealing for a decision when you know you've touched it last, and going down when you're not really that injured ( as VvD did yesterday , I bet he would have stayed on his feet had we been chasing the game) , is cheating . Our players do that pretty much every game , with hardly any critisim.

Tight game but 2 disappointing goals , first on FF was flat footed & my gut feeling was the second one maybe he could have done better . I haven't seen it on TV and being in the kingland corner didn't get a really clear view, but it was pretty central . Quite rare we give goals away from corners these days . Pelle was awful, I don't want to see him Tues.

We're British we'll innovate and find new markets . Loads of countries are sucsessful without being in this single market , The EU isn't the world , open your eyes to the wider community of countries . As The trendy vicar on QT said last night . Democracy is more than economics and " are we better off " . If The US offered to pay all our tax receipts so that no UK citizen paid tax , but we would have to become the 51st state , we'd be better off . However ,I doubt anybody would sell our sovereignty for that . Some things aren't for sale , no matter how much better off we will be . In any case , when we leave all bets are off . The EU will have to change , adapt , others might leave as well . The project will fail and fall apart , then maybe the French ,Italians and others will bring in the reforms needed to drag their economies into the 21st century

I moved to Poole about 20 years ago and the Boscombe chumps were pretty friendly , a lot were interested in us and how we did. Around the time of Redknapp and our relegation some of them jumped on this Scummer bandwagon and started to think they were the skates younger brothers . They've now got this big chip on their shoulders about BH Saints which is funny as **** because with one exception , all the ones I've met at work, socially or through local football , all supported somebody else . Liverpool , Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd & Spurs mainly. They're a real pain in the arse , going on about " glory hunter " ( ****ing glory hunter lol ) . I even took my passport into work to shut one twt up . My lad takes a bit of stick at school , whereas my oldest 2 never did when they were his age in the early '00's . Don't get me wrong , some are ok , and I'm meeting a few of them before the game Tues . They don't give me stick and I don't remind them they're Arsenal or Liverpool supporters , but I hope we smash the twts .
