How is he any more disloyal than any other manager ?

I'm sorry but it's a relic of a bygone era . My 4 kids aren't particularly interested in it , certainly not like my generation was and they're mad keen football supporters 2 of which have season tickets and do half the aways each season , so they are football fans . They range from 27 to 15 and none of their mates are particularly interested in it either . They may watch it, but finals don't stir the emotions like they did for the 40+ fan . Look at Wigan , that should have been up there with our win , Sunderlands , Ipswich , but their scorer isn't revered like Bobby , Roger Osborne or Ian Porterfireld . When 4th place is better than winning it , whilst the play off final is more important, it's never going to return to all its former glory , despite what us old farts want . The only chance it's got is if the winner goes stright into the champions league ( not qualifying rounds ) & the Premier league will never agree to that . I take no pleasure in it & im not trying to wind people up . I'm glad I was about to see the tail end of its great days , but the Premier league has killed it stone dead . Yes , it's a good day out but for neutrals it's pretty boring . Even the giant killings are boring now , beating a premiership second 11 isn't quite the same as Ronnie Radord , Dickie Guy ect ect

Based on what? You seem to think that because he upped and jumped ship at the first opportunity he's going to do it again . The situation he found himself in that summer is totally different from the situation he will find himself in this summer . Some of our supporters seem to have convinced themselves that he's that sort of bloke , a disloyal twt. Maybe it's because they don't want to accept that perhaps Levy & Spurs were far more attractive than us. If Utd or Chelsea flash their knickers at Ron , what do you suppose he will do , turn them down and sign a new contract with us ? No doubt you'll be posting the same about him if it happened .

Totally different set of circumstances than when he left us . One , he's still working for the chairman that took him on & who he appears to have a decent relationship with . Two, he can gain champions league experience with Spurs , experience that could lead to a bigger job . Three, there's a decent chance he could win something , he's been in one final already . There's also the prospect of a 60,000 stadium which is near on double what we have. There's also the question of his contract , I doubt levy will make it as easy as we did to move on . Why do people think that just because he bailed out on us after 18 months he's going to do the same to them ? Their a different level than us .

I read somewhere that Ron asked for a forward used to the premier league , who could play wide in a 3 or down the middle . When put in those terms there aren't too many better , that would come to the club . Top professional , hard worker but lacking a bit in the finishing department . If he could finish he wouldn't be playing for us , he'd be at a top 4 side

What are you on about? I have the utmost respect for him as a bloke , manager & particularly as a youth coach/mentor. However , he is now a paid radio summariser and he's awful . To keep saying Foster is rank professionalism . If I took the snap dragon out for a meal & Matt Le Tiss was the chef , could i complain if it was shiete or do I say " he was a great footballer , so that uncooked Sea bass is ok with me"?

The blokes a ****ing liability , he's a paid broadcaster , you think he'd get the name right . Even after the plum next to him said " what about FORSTER" , Dave replied " Foster was great again" . If a Radio 2 DJ kept going on about John , Paul Grorge & Roger , he'd get the boot . Get someone under 87 in.

I'd have both . A back 3 with those 2 & Fonte , with Bertrand at left wing back would be unbeatable . Great result . 2 home games , & sandwiched between Boscombe away , gives us a great chance of keeping the run going

Don't know about Doctors , but I know midwives do a lot of hours over , you can hardly be easing the babies head out and suddenly declare " I'm off now , I've finished my shift " . They don't get paid for it , however they do book the extra hours and they can get the time back.

The BMA critised the setting up of the NHS in the first place .

I remember looking round The Pig Iron in Middlesbrough and seeing some of the roughest birds I've ever seen in my life St Jacko. Now , I'm not usually too fussy , particularly when there's cheap drink involved , but they were horrendous . Put me off the town for life .

According to my Mrs who works in NHS they are being offered a higher basic salary , but reducing premium payments for working unsocial hours . It's something that's happened in the private sector , I believe Tesco & B&Q are doing the exact same thing now . You obviously can't compare working in retail with being a doctor , but it's about money plain & simple . If Hunt doubled their money , their patient safety concerns would soon disappear .

Prehaps Hunt should " stuff their mouths with gold" as Labour had to when the "principled" doctors opposed the setting up of the NHS.

There's always going to be a handful with a legitimate reason for getting the the exit early and I do get that ( although I wouldn't leave myself ) that people leave when the result isn't in doubt . But how on earth could anyone sit through the final 15 minutes of tension on sat and then walk out with 4 minutes injury time remaining . People with elderly relatives or similar aside , I do think it casts doubt on your credentials as not only a saints fan , but a football fan as well . Many people can't make games for various reasons , but I doubt they turn the radio off before the end . Sorry but I can't get my head round it . We're not alone , I was right by the Arsenal fans last week and they did the same , including one particularly mouthy twt. I don't recall it happening so much in the 70's & 80's .
