  1. What a ridiculous argument. Firstly, Ukip do have domestic policies and will have a manifesto containing them at the next election . Secondly, it is not a question of leaving the EU and having a UKIP government , it doesn't matter what their policies are. It is a perfectly coherent position to vote for withdrawal from the EU and then vote for whoever you want to run an independent UK. Personally I'll be voting for which ever party i feel can best get us out of this 1950's EUSSR and give us back our right to govern ourselves given away by Grocer Heath and other traitors. Once independent, i doubt if id vote UKIP, particularly as I am a republican , although i am in favour of their education policy. What UKIP represent is pressure on the establishment to give the people a say, the Liblabcon have played us for fools for too long.
  2. Liblabcon immigration policy is to treat people differently depending on we here you come from, yet ukip are the racists? How does that work? If UK proposed open doors for Australia and new Zealand , but restrictions for African and Jamaican citizens I'm sure they'd be called all sorts of names. But that's the establishment position, ukip are racist for treating everybody the same but we're not by distinguishing between Europeans like ourselves, and Africans. The clegg debate showed who was losing over Europe, who was scaring people and who was twisting the facts and it wasn't Nigel. The people's army is on the march and the establishment are going to get a massive wake up call this month.
  3. Please explain the difference between ukips policy on immigration and the established parties policy on non EU immigration.
  4. FFS, Ukip have not suggested closing the border. They just want quality and quantity controls put in place by the UK parliament. Their immigration policy is the same for everybody, unlike the liblabcon that treat Africans differently than Germans. The ukip policy for German,French and Dutch nationals is exactly the same as the establishments is for Africans, Asians and south Americans.
  5. "What the hell is the matter with the Daily Mail", what the hells the matter with a lot of posters on here more like. Clubs are interested in our better players and our manager , players that have had a fantastic season and a manager that is young, plays attractive football and is clearly weighing up his options. It is not some sort of conspiracy, some sort of establishment plot to undermine and keep SFC down with the plebs. It is bigger and richer clubs wanting to improve themselves and bring in people they think can do the job. What do people think , that spurs aren't looking at mopo , that Liverpool aren't interested in Adam, or do they really think Adam is not interested in a move, that clubs are pestering him like some sort of stalker. FFS , if it was an article saying saints were looking at Danny Ings or the Cardiff keeper, would that be BS? Until these people, players and manager ,sign a new and improved contract, they are putting a big sign above their heads .A sign that reads " make me an offer and I'll consider it". They may go, they may not, but the way football works they could stop all this speculation by walking into Ralph's office and offering to sign a new deal. If they did that the stories would be ". X staying at Southampton". That's the way it works, Rooney to Chelsea went away when he signed a contact. Forget this " I'll sit down at end of season " its code for " I'm thinking of leaving". You can't blame clubs for wanting our players and you can't blame papers for reporting it.
  6. Flown with them quite a lot and you pay for what you get. Priority boarding is a complete con if you have young children ( under 14 I think off the top of my head). They are not allowed to sit alone , they have to sit with an adult they know. At some airports they load families first, but when they didn't I used to wait until the mad scramble where 80% of the travellers were using their "priority" , and stroll onto the plane with kids in tow. Then tell the stewardess that the kids have to sit with us. There would then be a period of reorganisation as the " priority " payers were moved around. We would end up with me and Mrs duck sat with a nipper each or if I got lucky Mrs duck with both and me peacefully sat alone. Tend to use other carriers now because you don't seem to get the bargains anymore and if you book at the right time it can end up just as cheap.
  7. What's the matter with some of you? People have always quoted " best since the war", " best this century", so what on earth is wrong with best since PL started. Its a starting point , like freedom of contract or other restart after the war. If Bury win the cup next season and say " first cup win in the modern era" are you miserable sods gonna say " football didn't start in 1905, they've won it twice before".
  8. What beer was on tap, was there any decent ale, or just the normal fizzy shiete .
  9. Rickie class today, shame SG isn't quite good enough yet as we'd have really ripped them apart with another more expeiranced striker today. Clyne played great and cork had a good game. My motm was Davis, proper pro, unsung hero, great signing.
  10. There won't have been any enquiry to the club, but you can bet your life somebody has sounded out somebody as to whether players are open to a move. Look at the Suarez bit from arsenal last season, do people seriously think Suarez knew nothing about it until Liverpool told him "we've had an offer". Do people really think arsenal made that offer without some nod or wink from Suarez. The day before that offer Rodgers could say "we've had no contact" about Suarez and that would be the truth. Led reed receiving an offer will be one of the last acts of a transfer saga. As for the press, they really don't just make things up especially if its a named piece. People make things up and drip it to the press, but they don't just sit there and pluck things out of their heads. I have a life long friend who works in the gutter press, as did his father as well. He's told me loads of dodgey stuff they've done, but he's always maintained they never make transfer stuff up . Clubs are looking at hundreds of players so it doesn't necessarily mean its a lie when deals don't happen. In this case a journo hasn't just gone in, sat down and thought " I need to fill some column inches, I know I'll make up Shaw and lallana to man u". Somebody has fed them this, my guess maybe Moyes camp, under pressure he was trying to ride it out by leaking players for next season that would excite the fans. It could be agents trying to unsettle them, it could be saints trying to fire up a bidding war. It could be any number of things, but it ain't a journo just making things up , not in this day and age.
  11. Anyone who doesn't think clubs are making deals with players because there has been no offical interest , is seriously deluded.
  12. If a bike ride raises 6k when its advertised as an event to raise money for PFC, but a bike ride with a 50/50 charity split raises 16k , it will mean that by adding a charity people have donated more to PFC than would have been the case. Had they done it for the club and then donated half, that would have been different. If somebody asked me to donate to a 50/50 split with a local business and a charity, I wouldn't do so. I would want 100% of my money going to charity. If that makes me a ****, then so be it.
  13. It's the way away tickets are heading. Liverpool is there already. You need to have been to something like 14 games to get an away ticket, so season ticket holders just buy tickets for every away game and become the distribution network for away tickets.
  14. Unless the Season Ticket holder is a fat twt, he can only sit in one seat. He has a seat for the man utd game, he has priority for cup games, he has priority for away games and you still want him to have priority for seats he cant even sit in. What do you think we are, some sort of ****ing golf club. Perhaps that's what you want, you can only watch a game if you're signed in by a season ticket holder. And to think people say we need a fan on the board.
  15. How is he showing Moyes up "big time". Everton finished 6th last year. Even if they finish 4th this year, Moyes has done that before. Most of the players were identified and signed by moyse, its basically his side with 2 loan players and a couple of others. Martinez couldn't sort out a back 4 at Wigan, come back and tell us about this "big time" show up when Martinez does more than Moyes did at Everton.
  16. Martinez is doing great at Everton but Moyes built the foundations he's building upon. People forget how poor Everton were prior to Moyes and he made them a top 6 side season in season out. A year ago people would have laughed at Moyes to saints, 9 months of managing utd , and people write him off. If we've hit a glass ceiling, there aren't many who will keep us between 5-10th every season. Moyes could.
  17. Its a good article, which hits the nail on the head regarding FFP. He's not saying Saints would sign John Terry or condemning saints. What he's doing is pointing out the clear impications of the rules. The problem with FFP is you are not starting from a level playing field. Clubs like Man C and Chelsea have become elite clubs by over spending in the past, but other clubs are now denied that option. Prior to FFP if the Chinese wanted to buy into saints and add 4 world class players to our youngsters , they could. Once you qualify for champions league season in season out, you're always going to be able to outspend other clubs that dont. In the past you could bridge the gap with owners deep pockets, now you can't. The whole thing stinks.
  18. Two things that surprise me about this thread are; it hasn't been flushed to Muppet show yet, but also that 42 has got some friends to take to the game. Let's face it, if he's like this in real life, any "bring a friend " policy would be wasted on him.
  19. I had a conversation with the Mrs last night that shows what strange creatures they are. Whilst discussing the season ticket prices and the rise, she came out with a really stupid suggestion. Its so stupid that I'm not sure I should post it as people will think I'm married to a bimbo. She had the ridiculous idea that I could soften the blow of the rise by drinking less before the game , meaning the day out would, in effect, cost the same.
  20. I think mrs pap must be totally devoted to you or mentally unstable. Any women who travels half way across Liverpool to meet Bazza must be special.
  21. I remember an occasion when Mrs Duck totally lost it with me. After a particularly heavy and long Sunday lunchtime session I rolled in about 2130 to the silent treatment. This was followed by plenty of banging around, deliberate use of the hoover whilst I'm attempting some shut eye on the sofa and other assorted women mood things. Eventually I said "what's up with you", to which came the reply "what do you think". Quick as a flash I said " well it cant be anything I've done, as I haven't been here" needless to say she didn't see the joke . I did get some shut eye on the sofa, a whole nights worth.
  22. Mrs Duck has the annoying habit of starting any nag with "whose done x" when she knows full well its me. "Oh, who loaded the dishwasher like that " , "who put recycling in the normal bin", seeing as the brats do **** all round the house and it wasn't her, who else would it be, the ****ing milkman? She also has an annoying habit of asking me to do something I was going to do anyway, which then becomes a battle . Sunday I was going to mow lawn and she went of to work with a "can you mow the lawn, im sick of looking at it in that state, you do nothing round here, blah, blah, blah". So I thought "**** this, I ain't doing it now". If she hadn't of nagged , it would have been done. I keep telling her , dont say anything and more will get done.
  23. I'd be pap , I would then kick Bazza in the knackers on our next date.

  25. It wasn't a peado thing, he booked to share a hotel room with a male aide. My mate in the press told me years ago Hague batted for the other side ( I actually posted it on a saints web 2010 election before this story broke). Said that his marriage was politically motivated , and that the rumours he'd heard ( but could not publish due to a certain thing called libel) were of a " relationship" between Hague and a famous ex Olympic runner.
