One thing that has always nagged away at me regarding Ron is LVG's assessment of him. LVG claimed that Ron is too soft on players, after last season I put that down to a personality clash and LVG bigging himself up . However there are slight signs that there's some truth in this, are the players fit enough, do they get the hair dryer when needed? Rons style suited us last season, we needed a cool head , we needed a smooth transition and needed to steady the ship. Now we need a few tea cups chucked a few rollockings dished out. Hopefully Ron can upset a few and get a reaction . The players owe us a performance Sunday , not necessarily a result , but a performance that shows they're upset, embarrassed and determined to put yesterday behind them and move on. If we don't get that , then I will start to worry.

I've no doubt that like Mitchell, Poch and assorted players Reed has been tapped up and had offers elsewhere, yet he's remained loyal as they've jumped ship. He's been at the forefront of our achievements the past few years. Yet he can't seem to win on here. I think that could cause them problems . Brenda needs to play one or the other , if he tries to shoe horn both into the side , he'll end up with Courtino playing slightly different and the midfield unbalanced . Chambers hasn't got the pace to play FB long term in the modern game . He's got the makings of a centre half or a defensive midfielder , but he needed to learn his trade at a mid table club . Arsenals great for a Walcott , Lallana type player but even decent centre halfs struggle with Wengers set up. It's the wrong club at the wrong time .

Hockey , take note . This is the fundemental problem with Corbyn as leader that you can't seem to grasp . There was a threshold for a reason , the leader has to have the confidence of a significant % of mp's . All this lending of votes to " broaden the debate" is feeble minded in the extreme . Labour do broaden the debate by letting as many mp's on the ballot who reach that threshold , as opposed to the Tories who just send 2.

It takes more votes on average to elect a Conservative MP than to elect a Labour MP. The system is weighted in favour of Labour.Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are over-represented when populations there are falling and parts of southern England are under-represented since its population is rising. Or do you want constituencies left as is for ever and ever? The 2015 election was fought on different boundaries than the 1979 election , every party signs up for boundary changes , but I guess it's only the Tories that gerrymander it is it? I think the biggest difference is the full backs . Targett doesn't get forward like RB does and Cedric , who looked great going forward in the first game , has been exposed since . if Cedric settles in and RB comes back OK, that'll make a hell of a difference . José seems to be on a wobble, but we know he can do it. Once Romeu is up to speed protecting the back four the full backs can push on and we'll be fine.

I was in Malaga this summer and the locals love him. Taxi drivers, bar men and guys working in the hotel who followed football all raved about him. Spoke to a couple of expats who have S/T at Malaga , they said he's very talented and IF he can cope physically with the premier league will be a gem.
