I seem to recall the Yanks bombing an Iraqi wedding when Obama was commander in chief (& sleepy Joe his right hand man), so these things happen in war. The hypocrisy because it’s Isreal involved is a joke, particularly from Countries that were falling over themselves to support them in the days following 7/10 & have weighed into conflicts with far less justification than this.

It’s reasonable to kill someone who helps Hamas, if innocent people die as a result, that’s down to Hamas. Was it reasonable to drop bombs on Nagasaki & Hiroshima. That took out far far more innocent people than the Israelis have.

I spoke to a national league south keeper last night, he’d made the bench for league 1 games, before dropping out of the pro game & is now involved with coaching & playing semi pro. He knows lumley as they’re the same age group & he’s done some coaching with Reading nippers. He reckons he’s brilliant at training but he hasn’t managed to transfer his ability to match days. Said he’s very talented, has the ability, but must lack the temperament to start regularly. Although he reckons I’m too harsh on Baz, so he’s clearly fucking clueless.

Unlike you, I was there that day. I can tell you it wasn’t The IDF testing out their iron dome whilst I sat in a bomb shelter at Ben Gurion Airport. It was those “freedom fighters” from Hamas trying to blow me & Mrs Duck up. Innocent people trying to enjoy a well deserved holiday. A deliberate targeting of innocent civilians cheered on and celebrated by their supporters in Gaza. There’s absolutely no doubt who perpetrated those atrocities that day and it’s only anti semites who “doubt” who it was.

I guess it depends on your definition of “terrorist”. If you’re celebrating babies being beheaded, birds being raped, innocent people being kidnapped, the elderly being butchered & want Jews wiped off the face of the earth. If you’re allowing terrorists to live amongst you, turn a blind eye to their preparations & believe they are heroes, you deserve what’s coming to you (and I’m not saying all Gazans fall into that category). What % of the Israeli population are celebrating the unfortunate death of these aid workers? Contrast that with the scenes in Gaza after 7/10.

Our record against the top 6 can’t be particularly good, which doesn’t bode well for the play offs. I’ve always fancied RussBall to come good at the end of a tiring season at strength sapping Wembley, but now starting to think our lack of bollocks will see us off in the semis.

We’re going to get a lot of this pony if we fail to go up, another year RussBall would get us up and we were just unlucky to be down there this season. Points don’t matter, all that matters is being one of the best 2 teams in the league or the best one in a 3 game play off. Maybe in other seasons teams all through the league were stronger, it was more even so the best 2 teams dropped more points. Who knows, all I know is we have a better squad of players than Ipswich, and a squad that’s on par with Leeds & Leicester and we have chucked away automatic promotion because of ridiculous tactics & line ups the past 5 weeks. Bree played ok Friday, so I don’t blame Lego for playing him, particularly with Moore’s size up top. I can even understand leaving KWP out due to his recent injury and doubts whether he’d be fit enough to play 2 games in 4 days (although he said this wasn’t the case) But to make it a Bree/KWP thing afterwards stinks. Personally, I reckon he tried to be too clever & wanted JS in his John Stones role & Brees height at the back. Because he fucked up & won’t admit it has chucked Bree under the bus. What was wrong with Bree & KWP as full backs (if we believe KWP was fit). Old fashioned I know, but what most managers would have done.
