  1. If they can’t take a bit of clog, they can fuck off as far as I’m concerned. Go & play for Norwich or some other Noddy club

The places we’ve visited have been beautiful. Can’t speak for where I haven’t been, but sea of Galilee pretty stunning, the Dead Sea is unique & the beaches are fantastic. Tel Aviv is a modern cosmopolitan city, really vibrant. We’ve had our first taste of trouble tonight, after spending all day on the beach. We were on a bus to the north of Tel Aviv & the siren sounded. Pretty frighting when it stopped & everyone legged it to the shelter, we just followed along. Stayed in there about 20 mins and then let out, so must have been false alarm. The host of the place we’re staying has advised us to book a flexible ticket on El Al as it looks like foreign airlines are cancelling flights. He said El Al & the US airlines are the best bet when it comes to getting out. If our flight is leaving we can cancel this option. He also said he’d lived in Israel since ‘79 and this is the worst trouble he’s known. He said there’s some horrific things going on & the Israeli’s will retaliate in a brutal & murderous way. He said this with an air of resignation, rather than agreement or revenge. Such a shame because the Jewish people we’ve met, particularly the young ones, have been tolerant, modern & extremely kind.

Found out the reason for the non swimming rule. Just spoke to lifeguard walking along beach. She said they don’t want to be rounding up people out of the sea if the sirens go off & we have to get to the shelter. She said it’ll take too long. Flights still coming in and out of airport so snap dragon is talking of getting out of dodge a day earlier if possible. We’ve been here 10 days so 1 day isn’t really an issue.

We’re actually here now. Sat on a beach 20 miles north of tel Aviv. Few helicopters flying overhead & armed army guys on the cliff tops (but they’ve been here everyday). The lifeguards keep making announcements in Hewbrew, bizarrely you’re not allowed to swim in the sea (you can paddle) or on a sun bed but other than that it’s normal. It’s quiet but it’s the sabbath & Jews aren’t allowed to pursue leisure activities on Sabbath. Last Sat was pretty quiet down here as well. We didn’t know anything about the bombs until our son messaged us. Israelis just taking it in their stride. Flying out Monday so fingers crossed.
  5. If Sunak did what Starmer wanted & stopped it at Old Oak Common, Soggy & other lefties on here would be moaning like fuck. He’s spent post after post claiming that Starmer is being sensible, but not to go into Euston is fucking ridiculous. Can you imagine the up roar if Boris did the same, wanted the track to end before his constituency, some of you would self combust
  6. Resigns😂😂😂😂 What’s his notice period?
  7. They were also shite for a couple of months that season, so it wasn’t “rabbit out of the hat” stuff his fan club like to claim. They lost home to Burnley, Brighton, Fulham & Everton as well as City & Chelsea in those 2 months. They also lost to Leicester away around that time, and the same season got dicked 7 at Villa. I don’t recall anyone else crying, perhaps they didn’t get covid or know anyone with covid as it only seemed to affect Ralph & his family. It was Noddy and was downhill after that. He’s now admitted he’s lost his desire, and people still want him back
  8. What do you think about Starmer wanting it to stop at Old Oak Common. His campaign against the building work in his constituency & how it’ll “upset” the lives of his constituents. It seems to me that he’s happy for it to go through other constituencies, but not his. If that was a Tory leader you’d be calling him all sorts, nimby probably being the politest.
  9. Starmer campaigned for it to end at Old Oak Common and actually claimed people could get into central London quicker from there than Euston. Of course when they thought the Tories were going to do exactly that, the Soggy’s of this world were up in arms. HS2 has been a fucking disaster, from New Labour & Adonis, through Cameron & Osborne to Boris. Pinkos fucking it right up.
  10. Imagine what it would be like under Michael Foot or Jeremy Corbyn . An anti semitic old fool, who would have made the racist Abbott Home Secretary, and Foot, who actually had a manifesto commitment to leave The EEC. Those were the alternatives that Soggy preferred, we wouldn’t have needed Nigel, Soggys choice would have had us out years before.

  12. His fan club on here are quick to point out ones that aren’t mistakes, but that’s not the main criticism on here. We are constantly pointing out that he’s not expected to save them all, but some would be nice. For every 10 that werent mistakes last season, I reckon a decent keeper would have saved 3 of them at least. I’ve never seen a keeper with weaker hands, never seen one beaten so much after getting his hand to an effort. Lots of his goals are in the “should he have done better” bag for my liking, and I’m not seeing any “how did he save that” saves yet.
  13. He was probably working on other things, like getting us out of the whole rotten corrupt thing. He spent years and years going up and down the country, fighting elections he had no chance of winning, giving speech after speech, attending conference after conference, all to get us out of The EU. When he started it was a small minority issue & it was inconceivable we’d get a referendum let alone vote to leave. Along with The Great Lady & Blair he’s been the most influential person in politics the past 50 years. The fact he did it outside of Parliament is testimony of his hard work and dedication to the cause. When you think, great Parliamentarians like Tony Benn couldn’t get us out, to have done so as an outsider is quite remarkable. The easy & lazy thing for him to have done is hitched his wagon to the Tory party, got a safe seat & joined Bill Cash & his motley crew in talking about leaving, but doing fuck all about it.
  14. He’s getting better all the time , but as John Lennon wrote “it can’t get no worse”.
  15. Wolves were the biggest whingers last season. Constantly moaning and demanding apologies, including Leminas red at our place. From the athletic “After 10 months of ranting and frustration, of Sunday apologies from Howard Webb, the head of referees’ body the PGMOL, of friendly chats, less friendly chats, angry conversations and letters of complaint, Wolves have simply given up hoping for better.” The Liverpool decision was horrendous. There’s no doubt a large proportion of our fan base would be demanding a reply had that happened to us. I’d hope the club would show more class than they have, but our supporters would be exactly the same. Some still bang on about Gabbi’s goal fucking years ago.
  16. 😂😂😂 Funniest post for months.
  17. You don’t half come out with some pony. Completely clueless. The one thing Nigel isn’t is lazy. If there was a remoaner capable of putting half the effort in he did to get out the EU, you may get another vote. You don’t become one of the most influential politicians of this century by being “lazy”.
  18. It was on Simon Jordan podcast. Overall he came across pretty well I thought.
  19. What success?
  20. I’ve still got a Branfoot out tee shirt somewhere.
  21. Why doesn’t that surprise me. A load of clipboard warriors checking up on people going about their daily lives. Cars have never been safer & I doubt many kids are hit by cars travelling between 20-30 MPH. All it’ll do is inconvenience law abiding folk.
  22. I always thought it was in response to Branfoot saying he wasn’t going anywhere. A joke (not particularly funny) based on that’s the only way he leaves the club. It didn’t strike me as a particularly hate filled, although written down it clearly looks bad. It was blown a bit out of proportion, but as you say, repeated now & plod would probably feel your collar. I remember one gathering in the car park, can’t remember the game, & plod had stationed 2 wooden tops on Branfoots car. Someone pointed out that his tax disc was out of date by a few days & reported it to one of the coppers . His reply was “fuck off & grow up “. Different times.
  23. Why’s this in the lounge?
