Almost every single signing and also existing players in interviews mention NC's influence and the selling of the vision. I know certain posters hate that to give him any credit but clearly he is effective - I don't accept every player simply moves to where they earn the most money.

Don't disagree that players such as Hooper deserve a chance - the friendlies last week and tonight would have been a good opportunity but sadly we went with the usual players and the usual style of football.

Personally I would have preferred it if the FA had said "look, a European team isn't likely to win a World Cup in Brazil so we are going to lay the foundations for the future by giving younger players a chance in the qualifiers - there's a risk we won't qualify but the experience for them will be invaluable so we will back the manager whatever and hope the supporters will too".
