  1. Totally forgot that Jemal even existed although at the time remember being vaguely disappointed. Nice to see Dalek was as positive as ever...and wrong as always.
  2. It has been reported in one Spanish paper - the Portuguese papers simply referenced the one Spanish article.
  3. Someone else mentioned the same I think on the Echo site - joint megastore in West Quay and that the SMS Megastore will only open on match days.
  4. Just go by the indicators.
  5. Two friendlies and yet we pick the same old faces - not sure what Hodgson thinks he is going to learn. I think part of the problem is the pressure England managers are put under by the short termism of supporters. Personally I would have preferred it if the FA had said "look, a European team isn't likely to win a World Cup in Brazil so we are going to lay the foundations for the future by giving younger players a chance in the qualifiers - there's a risk we won't qualify but the experience for them will be invaluable so we will back the manager whatever and hope the supporters will too".
  6. Yep, I mean its not a wind up, obviously - definitely true
  7. We need to fill the ones we've got first as it only appears that 6/7 are taken some of which are by sponsors. Having said that, the empty ones perhaps generate more revenue being hired on a game by game basis - although better to have the guaranteed money up front I should think. Do I remember somebody posting to say that SFC were limiting the number of drinks that people could have in the boxes which had put people off?
  8. I have never cared less about the England football team than I do right now.

    Chaplow

Awful news and thoughts with Chappers and family. Puts everything into perspective.
  10. I thought the same. I think it's an attempt at saving face.
  11. Most people are intelligent enough to work that out for themselves. What I will tell you what though, is that has been bloody hilarious today seeing you and your ilk's reaction - thank you for the entertainment. Together as one x
  12. Generally PR isn't something done behind closed doors - that kind of defeats the object. The point of the exercise wasn't just the end result i.e. "the statement".
  13. It has indeed, well spotted.
  14. For the past 2 years we have been told that Cortese is a PR disaster, the press hate him and this reflects badly on the club. Funny how things change.
  15. Brilliant news
  16. If you look at the TV money in isolation it has been an amzing investment - which is why you shouldn't look at things in isolation. NC is not perfect but honestly I cannot see why any Saints fan would crave the instability that his departure would generate after what surely cannot be argued is the success of the past three years under his stewardship.
  17. No, but he is picking out a couple of players that I agree it is fair to say haven't been a resounding success ("value") but whilst completely ignoring the bigger picture.
  18. Incredibly selective and myopic - the general return on investment that the the Liebherr Trust could make should they choose to sell is significant. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/mauricio-pochettino-i-will-quit-southampton-if-nicola-cortese-leaves-8620017.html "It has though been a good investment"
  19. I guess it has gone up incrementally with the value and position of the club - win/win all round for NC, Saints fans and the Liebherr Trust.
  20. Worth every penny.
  21. Done, good luck Cov fans
  22. Great post and spot on.
  23. Apparently Lallana thinks you are a weird mentalist cvnt.
  24. You've been consistent in most of your views over the past few years - all of which have turned out to be b***ocks.
  25. Like Rickie?? McManaman was good today but would he do it consistently - on a general note I thought Wigan were good value for that win.
