I hear this trotted out from time from time but with little evidence to the contrary - people have short memories - we were in deep **** and anyone that says anything else is deluded. Do you think if we had been taken over at the last minute by the local candlestickmaker we would be in the Premier League? No, and people would be moaning about that. Football these days is a business and rightly or wrongly Cortese has made a business decision - only time will tell if it was correct.

Genuine question - what is the definition of "having our club back" - what does it actually mean?

Strachan did it to Gray and that didn't turn out too bad. This happens day in, day out in football with players and managers alike - its a fact of football life. It is naive to think otherwise.

We won't go down imho. Having said that I don't think we would have gone down with NA in charge - but for NC mediocrity and mere survival is not an option.

Nope, rightly or wrongly football is now more about business and I believe that NC has made a business decision. It's a brave decision and remains to be seen if it is good decision. As with any CEO he will be judged on this.

NA has gone - 90 minutes of shouting at NC or MP won't change that. We have to accept the decision and move on or we will implode like Chelsea.

It will only be a bad decision if Pochettino doesn't perform. If he does we will all be happy and NA forgotten - thats football fans for you.
