  1. This. I swear the co-commentator is masturbating.
  2. Yep we look like we can be competitive against the top sides. Bit more midfield muscle would be nice.
  3. We could really do with a couple of players that can tackle.
  4. "When PFC was last relegated to the third tier it took us seven seasons to return to our 'default' level (ie the one where we've spent most seasons) which is the second tier. That would seem to be a realistic timeframe to work towards this time around, although football does tend to concertina ups and downs more these days. I disagree with you about players. PFC will be the biggest opportunity many decent lower league players will have in their lives. Pompey will be the chance to play in, probably, League 2 at a club which won the FA Cup five years ago and gets gates of 10,000+. In League 2, only Bradford or arguably Plymouth, get remotely close to offering the 'football' career opportunity we present. Whether we will be able to afford to fight off the likes of, say , bankrolled Fleetwood to sign those players is another matter. By all means talks our prospects down, but I'd beware the self-fulfilling prophecy..." Posted by Colin Farmery on one of their message boards. They continue to still really think they are something - the only reason they are attractive now is because of the stupid wages that they continue to pay. I am actually thinking that the PST taking over would be good for this thread and allow many more years of enjoyment.
  5. You can call house but there may be a charge over it
  6. It will be like Sycophantic Bingo - Pompey Edition.
  7. Really good article - well written and researched.
  8. If we can combine the football we played in spells against Man Utd with the battling and closing down we displayed against Stoke then we are in with a chance.
  9. Would have taken a point all day long before the game but have be disappointed after being 3-1 up and 3-2 up against 10 men. Fine margins, Guly puts the ball in at 3-1 and its all over. Credit to Stoke they put us under enormous pressure and made it look as if we had the 10 men which is disappointing really. A commanding GK would have helped take the pressure off but Kelvin flapped at pretty much everything - we must buy in January.
  10. Thought we'd get battered today - will be happy to eating humble pie in 45 mins hopefully.
  11. On paper it looks devoid of creativity, pace and strength so we will probably win 1-0 . I am dreading today's game to be honest.
  12. There is a team photo on the back of the individual player posters which are available in the club shop (in the black tubes). Edit - sorry just saw your location. Doesn't look like you can order these online.
  13. Scrappy game devoid of quality in the final third from either side.
  14. Fair result and I can see Fulham getting dragged into the relegation battle.
  15. Second half better. Decent point but by no means a good performance.
  16. Get in! Now get another
  17. Lacking quality in and around the box. Fulham are there to be beaten if we can just get one......
  18. Rickie really looks out of sorts today
  19. It is frustrating - Sunderland were poor so are Fulham. Fulham are there for the taking but we just look devoid of a plan and just as worringly, any belief. The tactics are not working again.
  20. The best thing about our performance yet again.
  21. FFS Somebody f***ing shoot - we fanny around on the edge of the box so many times.
  22. FFS Berbatov unmarked in the box.
  23. The first 12 minutes have been complete dross and thats being polite - we look so disjointed again.
  24. Does anyone think we don't need a GK in the January window? Really?
  25. With Mayuka at the ACN it makes complete sense to recall him - we can't lose, if he scores goals and we stay up then great, if he doesn't and we stay up then we sell, if we go down then he is already proven at Championship level.
