  1. OK so maybe "question" rather than "protest" would have been a better phrase. You are also confusing a number of issues - I don't think there is anybody who isn't grateful the club was saved or that we are spending money on players but that does not mean that as fans we have to accept every decision without question every time - and you need to calm down dear.
  2. What a ridiculous post - whatever happened to freedom of speech and the right to protest? I am delighted that we are moving in the right direction - that does not mean however that anyone at the club or anything that the club does is beyond question.
  3. Something we've been lacking in the make up of the team for years.
  4. Would be a good signing, the type of CM we need.
  5. You mean Rovers but I think a few people on here have mentioned Lee Holmes. Interesting how they know that lines has a £500k release clause in his contract (assuming they do know!) - his agent releasing the details perhaps?
  6. Laughably simplistic (and misguided) I am afraid.
  7. Prepare to be under-whelmed!
  8. True but maybe a one off £15 admin fee or something for those wanting to pay by instalments would have solved it?
  9. So just issue tickets on a match by match basis to instalment payers until their ticket is paid off.
  10. I think there used to be to 2 options - one 4 months interest free and one over a longer period but with interest charged.
  11. I don't think many people mind that - last year's prices were arguably artificially low in order to get as many in as possible. This season should be pretty exciting so an increase seems fair to pay for the points you mention. The issue is the instalment plan or lack of it - I can't understand why the club would make such a crass decision that immediately precludes a significant number of season ticket holders from renewing - short sighted at best.
  12. a) doesn't necessarily have to be interest free b) actually by paying for services up front i.e. matches in second half of the season (instalments satisfied by December) the club is still getting money in quicker than they would if customers paid on on a match by match basis and therefore are gaining via increased interest on funds in the bank.
  13. Probably just trying to get a reaction - what a pair of saddos.
  14. A post on the Echo website suggests that 100 people defaulted on the instalment plan last season - cancelled their DD and then sat in any old empty seat so as not to get caught. I can understand the club being concerned about this but the solution is simple - issue tickets on a match by match basis for those paying by instalment until it is paid off and then issue a season ticket book. If you miss your instalment then you don't get a ticket.
  15. I would suggest the poll is modified to read "Yes", "No", "Yes if a payment plan is introduced". Should give a better idea of the feeling of the fans.
  16. There is no doubt that this division is weaker than it was last season. I still believe we will absolutely walk it.
  17. It isn't the lack of season tickets being on sale that is frustrating but more the lack of info. If the club came out and said "season tickets aren't yet on sale because we are putting in electronic turnstiles/still talking to the police about moving away fans/undecided on pricing structure" then at least we would all know. I can't think of a reason why information around this would be so sensitive that we have to be kept in the dark.
  18. I'd rather live in Pyongyang than Portsmouth.
  19. Wotton to Exeter? http://www.exeweb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39754 Oakley back and Vassell in? http://the1976.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/2734045-players-linked-with-saints Probably all b******s but it relieves the boredom.

Wasn't someone on here the son of the the club doctor and was ITK about players undergoing medicals?
  24. Looks like you could have been right.
  25. Plymouth are on the brink of administration apparently. Flogged Jamie Mackie to QPR yesterday but still in the mire.
