I don't think many people mind that - last year's prices were arguably artificially low in order to get as many in as possible. This season should be pretty exciting so an increase seems fair to pay for the points you mention. The issue is the instalment plan or lack of it - I can't understand why the club would make such a crass decision that immediately precludes a significant number of season ticket holders from renewing - short sighted at best.
-
a) doesn't necessarily have to be interest free b) actually by paying for services up front i.e. matches in second half of the season (instalments satisfied by December) the club is still getting money in quicker than they would if customers paid on on a match by match basis and therefore are gaining via increased interest on funds in the bank.

Probably just trying to get a reaction - what a pair of saddos.

A post on the Echo website suggests that 100 people defaulted on the instalment plan last season - cancelled their DD and then sat in any old empty seat so as not to get caught. I can understand the club being concerned about this but the solution is simple - issue tickets on a match by match basis for those paying by instalment until it is paid off and then issue a season ticket book. If you miss your instalment then you don't get a ticket.

I would suggest the poll is modified to read "Yes", "No", "Yes if a payment plan is introduced". Should give a better idea of the feeling of the fans.

There is no doubt that this division is weaker than it was last season. I still believe we will absolutely walk it.

It isn't the lack of season tickets being on sale that is frustrating but more the lack of info. If the club came out and said "season tickets aren't yet on sale because we are putting in electronic turnstiles/still talking to the police about moving away fans/undecided on pricing structure" then at least we would all know. I can't think of a reason why information around this would be so sensitive that we have to be kept in the dark.

I'd rather live in Pyongyang than Portsmouth.

Wasn't someone on here the son of the the club doctor and was ITK about players undergoing medicals?

Looks like you could have been right.

Plymouth are on the brink of administration apparently. Flogged Jamie Mackie to QPR yesterday but still in the mire.

Anyone can be replaced but to describe Hammond as "woeful" is just plain wrong imho.

Both are too old - I think we will go for younger players aged 28/29 max. AP has often talked about signing players who can go on the whole journey i.e. can also play in the Championship and PL. -
Can't see why he'd go to a smaller club who we will be above quite soon.

In real life he has a face like a tortoise, at football he just looks like a t*t.

Believe it or not, my lad was one of the mascots and yes it is very disappointing but nothing can be done unless I can find someone with a copy who is willing to sell. I was told that if they become available then one will be sent. As an aside the Saints in the Community staff were fantastic.

It does seem a bit indiscreet doing it this way - you would have thought that seeing as Saints were in the North West and Hughes lives that way that they would have met on the Friday evening at Hughes home for example. That is assuming any of this is true.
