  3. How long does it normally take for the interviews to be put on the Solent website?
  4. No comment
  5. Not exactly rocket science Turkish.
  6. Spot on, RL is forced to spend far too much time out wide trying to get the ball - when he does there is never anyone in the box.
  7. Genuinely, I can't think of any battling players in our squad.
  8. We never win with a new manager, we always lose against an opponent with a new manager. If an opposing player is on 99 goals I guarantee they will score against us, if an opposing player hasn't scored for 20 years I guarantee they will score against us. We always concede goals against players who used to play for us and those with ridiculous surnames - Akinbiyi etc etc. It has become part of the Saints' Law.
  9. Kelvin doesn't command his area and is indecisive on crosses imho. If there is to be true competition for places then nobody should be immune from being dropped.
  10. On the plus side we could get rid of the crap like Wotton and never replace them with someone of the same ability.
  11. What a s*** bench, and therein lies one of the problems.
  12. The LMA have been strangely quiet though. Normal practise is to defend their members publically when they have been unfairly dismissed.
  13. I have seen them play a few times both at SMS and on the box and have been impressed by the football his teams played.
  14. At least he had a shot rather than passing it sideways again/trying to walk it in. FWIW I thought he was ok yesterday.
  15. The pitch is dangerous - Fonte also managed to kick a large lump out of it instead of the ball and it is cutting up in every match. Perhaps it should not have been re-laid in the summer after all.
  16. http://www.exeweb.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41181&page=4 Interesting their views on Saints/Tisdale. Also interesting is the poster 007 who claims to have a very very good source and refers to the dressing room's view of AP. I am assuming his source is Seaborne.
  17. The statement infers that there was a lack of stability within the club.
  18. Surely that means they have a shortlist and therefore do have somebody lined up out of that list?
  19. I suppose it depends - if there is no budget left then we were looking at loans or frees anyway so the transfer window closing is not as significant. Having said that we have probably just blown some of the wages budget on paying off AP and the other staff.
  20. Daren I agree but on the last point ref, alienating the fan base, Saints fans are no less fickle than any others - a new manager comes in,gets us promoted and we would forget AP even existed. The gamble for NC is if the new man fails - then he has a problem.
  21. I agree, managers would be queuing down the road to manage us. The threat of the sack goes with the territory.
  22. "These targets for sustained and significant progress embrace both the First Team and the Football Development & Support Centre as integrated, co-operative units". I may be reading too much into the statement but this suggests that maybe AP hadn't bought into the new structure. I would imagine Les Reed has a fair bit of influence now and to all intents and purposes is Director of Football. Easier I suppose to bring in a manager aware of the existing structure rather than trying to impose the structure on the existing manager who it seems was not happy about it. Also, given his reaction at the end of the Bristol Rovers game perhaps it was goodbye and he knew it was coming.
  23. Madness. If it was going to be done (and I don't agree with it) then it should have been done at the end of last season.
  24. We can't - the rules of the competition dictate that we play at least 6 of the players with the most appearances in their respective positions (for the season to date) or we get fined.
  25. Finally found his best position.
