Yes, I think Charles likes to sit and view the game and time his runs forwards. The problem with that is that we lack pressing bite. I think Charles is an excellent player, but the Downes / Jander combo is more effective, with Charles coming on if we need a goal. Wood is a funny one. Solid enough Champ defender but passing isn’t precise enough, really, and often takes a touch too many. That said, he's done pretty well this season. Stephens brings more assurance and leadership, and is more accomplished with the ball.

Why would you prefer to play Milwall? Ipswich have been struggling for form and have had quite a bit of luck lately. I think I'd be more confident against them, to be honest.

Well, we at least have the benefit of Ipswich and Milwall having 3 matches between them before our next league match, so we'll have a good idea whether we're in with a shout of second by next Tuesday. If we're not, we basically have two weeks to prepare for the semis, so plenty of time to give some rest.
