  1. He said "bush-rocketeer".
  2. Rule 1
  3. This guy is the best ever in terms of natural and physical gifts. Shame that whatever happened in 98 derailed him somewhat. [video=youtube_share;y-P8owvfsOs]http://youtu.be/y-P8owvfsOs Incredible.
  4. Cedric better than Moses? No chance pal.
  5. Man City shade it IMO.
  6. Battigol was certainly class. I only really saw Maradonna from 1990 onwards so missed him in his prime I think.
  7. Good spot. Just checking people were paying attention. Obviously Callum Davenport would have made it too. But for the rule.
  8. That wouldn't stop people putting MLT and Lambert in. I suspect a few might go for Shilton, Ball, Keegan....
  9. Good shout. That Milan team was class.
  10. Hi Saints fans! After watching the Champions League over the last couple of weeks I started thinking about my best ever XI, plus subs. No Saints allowed. I wondered what other people would pick. Tremendous fun, right? The rule is that you can only pick players you have actually watched play a fair bit (TV or live). You can't pick Garrincha, Pele or Puskas if you were born in 1980. My pick is: ------------------------------de Gea--------------------------- Cafu-----Koeman------Matthias Sammer---Zanetti --------------Lothar Matthaus-----Xavi----------------- ---------Messi-------------Iniesta-------------Henry------ ------------------------------Ronaldo(Brazil)---------------- Subs: Buffon, Dani Alves, Ashley Cole, Busquets, Keane, Zidane, Ronaldinho That team would batter everyone. Fact! Honourable mentions: Ronaldo (Portugal), Rio Ferdinand, Vieira, Seedorf, Aguero, Shearer. Jon Parkin.
  11. We'll lose to Spurs in the final following a Dele Alli dive for a penalty. Fact.
  12. I disagree. Whilst there are some bad eggs in every party, this lot have a militant tendency to silence opposition and the prospect of McDonnell in power is hideous. As to your lazy Tory bashing, complete piffle. The boundary changes are proposed by an independent commission and it was recognised by Parliament in 2011 that the constituencies need a rethink.
  13. Yeah, that too. It's all hypothetical as he's got no chance of winning an election. If he did, I would be seriously worried though.
  14. They will make whatever institutional changes they can to entrench their position. They hold extreme views and cannot tolerate debate / exchange of ideas. They look to shut down opponents. Basically, they are extreme dogmatists. I think, to some extent, Corbyn is a bit of a patsy but that's irrelevant.
  15. Think what you like of the Tories, the Blairites etc. but a Corbyn / McDonnell axis in power would be a huge and very dangerous blow to the democratic operation of this country.
  16. I had problems with the BBC highlights. The commentary had some sort of interference so that the voice was twisted up in pitch and took on a sort of shrill, childlike quality that, frankly, was out of keeping with the football and soured the overall quality quite dramatically.
  17. Didn't he post a photo with him wearing a knee brace the other day? Bad news!

  19. We haven't kept a league clean sheet since McCarthy's first match.
  20. A bigger problem than the attack. We've been in the lead loads of times and given it away. The handling of the van Dijk situation and failure to replace him has been shocking. Feel a bit for Pellegrino in this respect.
  21. As long as we cannot defend aerially we will struggle.
  22. You need a tinker with Tarmac.
  23. No, why buy a striker at all if there is a dastardly plan to sell everything and pocket the money?
  24. Why do we need to get relegated to further this genius plan?
