That's a bummer. Given they've only recently re-platformed the website it ought to be able to cope with iPads. Good luck!

Me too.

If we let West Ham have the ball in good wide positions to get crosses in then Carroll would probably murder us even if Fonte and Van Dijk were playing. The key tomorrow is to dominate possession and defend aggressively in terms of closing down and maintaining a fairly high line. Then even if Carroll does win all the headers they aren't going to be dangerous. To that end, I'm not too worried about centre back personnel tomorrow - more about the midfield and wide players getting stuck in properly.

I'm now "Less than an hour". Cracking stuff.

Queue, I think. There is a progress bar above that ominous black box. How long is yours?
-
I'm in a queue for "over an hour" allegedly!

what a helmet.

From memory, I think Davis did play wing-back, or maybe JWP did.

He's got an ST so he's guaranteed a seat tomorrow. As are you. Chill out.

It will be very interesting to see how we line up. I think everyone would agree that we need to get Boufal on the pitch as much as possible and, in my opinion, he is better used centrally than stuck out on the left. I know the forwards are encouraged to rotate but the starting position / defensive structure still dictates where the majority of touches will occur. Allegedly, Gabbiadini is not a central striker but would be better suited to the wide right role. Boufal and Gabbiadini both sound like players that would suit the "diamond" with the wide-split forwards that we played at the start of the season. T If we stick with the current 4-3-3 with Gabbiadini on the right and Boufal on the left then, with Long, Jay Rod (or Austin) playing centrally there would be no starting place for Redmond, or Tadic. It seems a shame to sacrifice Redmond or Tadic in place of what is likely to be one of our midfield "steady Eddies". A 4-2-3-1 does seem like the obvious approach but perhaps we doubt whether we have sufficient muscle in midfield to only play the 2 genuine central midfielders. If we're determined to stick with a central midfield three then I think the diamond is probably our best bet, with Boufal central, Gabbiadini on the right and Tadic or Redmond coming in from the left.

Good Grub Pubs with Rugby (6 nations) on in southampton this coming weekend

Varsity (London Road) has reopened as something else. It will have the rugby. Don't know what the food is like! -
Obviously not because he didn't get sent off and he wasn't trying to "take out" VVD. He was just being a bellend.
-
Not really. If you deliberately "take out" someone to cause them an injury it's probably going to be red card in the modern game.
-
Mark Paul.
-
Yeah, but you do run a Christmas hamper business.
-
Utterly idiotic. Pretend to get injured by the other team's best player.

He means this: -----------------GK-------------------- RB-----------CB----CB---------------LB ----------------Romeu------------------ --------CM---------------CM------------- ----------------Boufal------------------ --Barry Manilow-----------Jay Rod-----

Or maybe the whole report is a crock of ****e. -
Transfer Deadline Day Jan 2017 Edition

Maybe it was £3m p.a. for a pre-agreed permanent deal to take effect at the end of the loan. £3m p.a. after tax would be about £110k gross a week. So if that's what he wanted, then he wanted to be our best paid player (by some distance). -
So not only do you have the financial risk of something going wrong but it could also **** up a family member's "dream move"? Is it really worth getting involved? Is the family member absolutely adamant that the land should stay within the family at the risk of up-risking their own dream move? And if you plan on selling half of it anyway ASAP then how does that square with their wishes? I would pay some money for the expert advice ASAP if you're determined in principle to go ahead!

Maybe he said, "yeah, £2m is fine" and then when he turned up he said, "actually, I want £3m after tax". Who knows? -
We're three matches into a run of 5 games where we should have been looking at at least 9 points and we've got three points, having lost two matches to poor teams. If we don't beat West Ham or Sunderland or we pick up any more key injuries I'm going to start having a sneaky peak at the relegation odds.... I don't think we'll be bad enough to get relegated but could be worth a "softener" just in case!

I don't think too many people are "sharpening pitchforks". On the whole, he has done excellently for us. This time he has clearly not. That's what people are talking about. And he said Fonte wouldn't leave without a replacement. Anyone suggesting that the replacement was supposed to be Stephens or Gardos is a trenchant buffoon. And, yes, he should have known that Redmond, Tadic and Long would miss lots of chances because that's what they have done all their careers. The same way that most people also knew Austin and Rodriguez would be unreliable and the same way that everyone knew we would score ****-all goals between our central midfielders as well. On the whole, Les Reed, great job. This season, poor (other than signing Boufal who I think will turn out to be a brilliant signing).
