It's certainly declining, due to streaming and the yoof being addicted to TikTok and YouTube but it's something worth fighting to preserve IMO.

It's not about the "quality" of programming, it's about social cohesion, the value of cultural touchpoints and shared experience. The sort of thing that's too complicated for the type of people who rant about the BBC.

I don't see the point in playing him as a central midfielder. Bring him on but have him higher up the pitch. He's one of the only players we have who can make an opening with a bit of skill and who has composure. Get the ball pinged into him near the oppo box.

He's scored 150 goals in 300 league games, but OK.

He will have a good career but I don't see a top team coming in for him yet. The best JWP could get was WHU, FFS. If he doesn't fancy a year in the Champ then I wouldn't be surprised if he's loaned out next season, in the hope he can play for us in the PL the following year.
