  1. We had a clear strategy to hit long balls at Orsic and Djenepo in the first half. Jones bollocked Djenepo for having the temerity to show for a ball to feet rather than look to run on behind. The first half was turgid, uninspiring, boring crap and we were lucky not to go in behind.
  2. Our football is just so basic. Jones is a truly awful appointment. No clue how to build play or get any kind of control of the game. Our offensive game plan is clearly to leave Orsic and Djenepo high up and hit long balls to them. It's rank. It's also why Salisu and KWP are left exposed all the time.

They have been a failure. There were a few things that were needed. 1 - inject some fresh impetus and drive; get rid of Mediocre Martin and instill some ambition. Failed. 2 - appoint a decent manager. Failed. Bizarre appointment. 3 - improve the GK position. Incredibly, failed, with a very low bar. 4 - improve up front. Failed. Mara might be good at some point but clearly hasn’t delivered yet. 5 - improve CB. Fair play, succeeded. 6 - midfield: neutral. Lavia is great, but AMN hasn’t delivered so we are still lacking depth in CM. On the wings, Stu Armstrong seems to have issues. Aribo is shite. We’ve basically swapped Edozie and Aribo for Redmond and Armstrong. I know which two I’d rather have. Let’s hope Orsic and Alcaraz can do something, if the manager lets them on the pitch. In short, they’ve done terribly. Quite remarkable considering they only needed to be better than Gao.
  4. Club seems to be a complete shit-show at the moment. Ineptitude all over the place.
  5. Looks like 352 now. Honestly, where is Orsic? Why did we sign him if we don't think he's a lot better than what we've got?
  6. Pretty crap. Perraud for Lyanco, Orsic for Edozie. Maybe stick JWP on right and move Armstrong into the hole.
  7. This has the makings of a Portsmyth.
  8. Hopefully not in him, to be honest.
  9. Is his middle name "Sauce"?
  10. Sorry Nic Jackson (woo) I am for real We just signed Steven Mividididi He will play up front for SFC

  12. People acting like we're now a well-oiled unit, rather than huff and puff merchants who ground out a win against terrible opposition.
  13. Yeah, it's great timing for Newcastle. They really aren't that good but they've got a shout on 4th, which will let them spunk a ton next season.
  14. Because he can't get up and down quickly enough. He seems like a good lad but he's utterly pointless. Half the player of Nathan Redmond, for example.
  15. Jesus says you should forgive, Nath.
  16. All these people saying Newcastle is a tougher draw than Man U! Behave! Newcastle are a mid table team on a roll. We'll shit them.
  17. Glad to see my constructive criticism of him on Twitter and on here may have been taken into account.
  18. I'm sure I read that one of our main coaching team now isn't even qualified. Is that right? Jones seems like a right twerp.
  19. I was told Fern Cotton only takes it up the bum. Never in the front hole.
  20. Wrong. Doesn't matter which direction the ball is travelling.
  21. It was there but one of the locals had knicked it.
  22. In some ways it was a good performance, to grind out a win and show some resilience after going behind in an away match. However, first half was the usual garbage and we conceded a very soft goal again. Luckily, we were given two soft goals today. I just don't see any evidence of cohesive coaching or patterns of play. The fact will remain, that our manager is substandard, in my view, and I'm sure we will be back to earth with a bump over the next few games.
  23. It's fine. Edozie shouldn't be starting every match and can still make an impact from the bench. In the meantime he can learn from this guy. It's what smart teams who don't only sign young players do!
  24. The club is owned by St Mary's Football Group. That is owned by Sports Republic Limited. That is owned by Sports Republic Holding Limited. Dragan owns over 75% of Sports Republic Holding Limited and the rest is owned by Ankersen and Kraft. The shareholding arrangements in Sports Republic Holding Limited are oddly complicated with about 5 different classes of shares and a nominee company owned by Ankersen and Kraft owning certain classes of the shares. I can't be bothered to wade through all the docs to figure out what power Dragan has to do something if Ankersen and Kraft disagree!
  25. I couldn't attend. Did it make a positive impression on the match day experience?
