    Male Privilege

    Cum on tits, usually. Apparently.
  3. West Ham got done over a bit by VAR / ref. Fine incoming for Moyes, I suspect! No need for VAR to intervene to give a marginal call that was not clear at all. In Brentford v Leeds, Leeds had a clear penalty missed by the ref and VAR didn't intervene. It's all a bit shit.
  4. Stuart Armstrong was the best player on the pitch in the second half. If Elyounoussi starts the next match, Ralph out!
  5. Elyounoussi really is terrible when we're on the ball. I feel a bit sorry for Diallo as the foul he got booked for wasn't a foul but he is racking them up.
  6. We also sent someone on loan to FC Troyes, which is a City Football Group club. It's sensible to have good relations with clubs like that if it means we build trust and pick up some of their good youngsters.
  7. Tim Sparv can step up.
  8. He gives the ball away loads. He's easy to disposses and his passing isn't very good.
  9. Not enough quality in the final third. Need to get rid of Elyounoussi, get Mara in the team and, ideally, sign another forward.
  10. We seem to have entered a new paradigm in British politics where malevolence is more of a concern than incompetence.
  11. What, up north?!
  12. That's the first game I've been able to watch this season. We were terrible for 60 mins then good for 30. That said, even in the terrible period we looked pretty solid; we didn't give up chances and they only managed a goal from a set piece. The 4141 helped shield the back 4. All of our new signings look like decent players. The standout today was Bella-Kotchap, who was immense. He's the best header of a ball we've had since Van Dijk and even managed to make something of one of Salisu's throws. He was composed and assured. Bazuna, Lavia and Mara also have tremendous potential. Aribo is strong and has great close control. All good signings. Shout out to Djenepo and Salisu who had good games and KWP was excellent in the second half too. A Armstrong and Mo Elyounoussi still look like relegation level players to me though, although you can't fault their effort or attitude. Stuart Armstrong and Che Adams, and frankly Nathan Redmond, are far better. We really need a Tadic / Pelle type signing. Someone who has a few miles on the clock and is used to carrying a burden of expectation. Although I'm impressed with our signings as individuals, they are generally all quite raw.
  13. Look harder then.
  14. 4141 with Armstrong on the left wing. Not sure what the point of sticking him out there is when we've got Armstrong on the bench.
  15. Kids and grown ups love them so, The goals of Joey Aribo.
  16. Yes, obviously. Slim pickings for Brexiters when the positives of Brexit are, "things that would have happened anyway".
  17. That was arguably true of tennis about 25 years ago. Not now. There is more variety and invention in the men's game and the gulf in quality is just as wide as it is in most sports. There are still a few people who rely massively on their serves but the most successful male players of the last 25 years haven't don't so.
  18. Thunderball is on ITV!

    Pegging

Any fans? More hassle than it's worth?
  22. I heard rumours of something similar.
  23. Quite fit.

    Tyler Dibling

But assuming they aren't interested, then all those things that you say make Newcastle a bad option apply to us too. It's not like he's going to start 20 games for us next season, so he might as well earn more money, and maybe they will loan him to a Champ team. It's a shame if some if our best young players move on but it's not worth worrying about too much. There are plenty of top rated players at u18 level that end up not being anywhere near as good as expected and if we were confident of his ability already he probably would have started a few matches.
