I said this around Xmas when everyone was cacking themselves about all the away games. If we win all our home games, the away form should take care of itself. Unfortunately we dropped two points to Notts County but we are doing well on the road. As long as we keep going then either: a) we will overtake other teams as they drop off, or b) the final placings will come down to the results between teams. We still have Cherries and Seagulls away; big games!

Really good result. Very encouraging stuff from N'Guessan too. A shame we couldn't dominate the game more but really glad to see Lambert back amongst the goals. If he can get clinical again we will go up easily.

COYS! Back to a wider midfield 4 then. Big opportunity for N'Guessan with Lallana still out. You can't help think that with our strikers and Chambo and N'Guessan on the wings, if we do the simple things right we should win.

We didn't sign a "marquee" FFS!!! (For the purposes of this particular gripe "marquee" means a football luminary like Craig Mackail-Smith, Charlie Austin, Adam Le Fondre, not three players from the division above and a Brazillian from a Serie A team)

Agree. I was thinking the other day, "what if we don't go up"? Well, even if you take out the "definite leavers" we could put out a starting 11 with a spine like this: ---------------------BB----------------------- DB/FR--------AM-----------DS-------------DH/RD ???----------DH------------RC-------------??? --------------Guly------Barnard------------------- The "definite leavers" IMO would be Lallana, MS and Oxo. We'd be looking at a monumental League One set of deals worth something like £15m. If Fonte or Lambert left too it could be more. That set of players above is still very good for League One and coupled with the huge war chest we would have we would still be amongst the favourites for auto. Retaining the likes of Lallana and Oxo without being bent over is a brilliant result. The future looks bright, however you look at it.
