Of course I understand the significance of giving away an eary goal. I haven't said anything contrary to that in my post.
What I am saying is that Davis is one of our most reliable performers and is better than his understudy and is not the reason we aren't higher up the league.
Why do all the mentals base their analysis/predictions for the season on the most recent game only?
It is rather weird. It's something you might expect of an infant but not an adult.
Seriously, how many goals are attributable to him this season? I can't think of another one. There probably is but I can't think of it.
He is the least of our worries.
Lambert's mistakes are costing us far more.
And Bart is dodgy as hell.
This is nonsense. How is dropping Davis going to bring Lallana back? The fact that Lallana wasn't playing is the reason we let the goals in and didn't score. Duh!!!
Everyone apart from us is good enough.
No one else loses away matches or fails to score.
Their tactics, attitude and execution are all 100% at all times. Saints, however, are an appalling slur on football.
Sounds like Lambert's had a 'mare in front of goal again. If only he'd had his finishing boots on this season... we'd be talking about nowt but the Championship already.
(Obviously Lambert's finishing is somehow related to Lallana's absence, Adkins' tactics, or poor pitches in t'north.)
Sounds like when we do get the ball under control we are capable of cutting them open. Whenever we've built an attack it's ended in a chance.
Just need to start the second half solidly. I expect Tranmere have peaked. If we can get one within the next 20 minutes I would still be confident of a win.
