  1. If he meant it then Chamberlain's was probably the best - goal out of nothing from a completely unconventional shooting position. There has to be a fair element of doubt as to whether it was a fluke though. On the basis that Chambo's was a fluke, Lambert away to MK Dons has to be the best. To control a goalkick, turn and hit it into the opposite goal instantly takes skill, poise, vision and technique. Again, a goal out of nothing. Thomas' is without doubt the funniest for some reason. Honorable mentions to Schneiderlin (one goal FFS), Lallana and Barnard.
  2. Don't tell them your name, Pike.

That's an interesting story but I don't think it is representative of anything much other than that otherwise highly unremarkable people are capable of acting heroically under pressure. I suppose it tells us that the unremarkable can quite easily, serendipitously, unwittingly, instinctively become remarkable. The "Trolly Dolly" is a moniker of the normal, the 99.9%.
  5. As in, "I'm just off for a quick ****".
  6. By the way, that word says "****".
  7. You go for regular **** breaks, Delldays?
  8. More likely NAMBLA.
  9. Too greasy:
  10. Yes, he does, what with a Thunderbird being a puppet n'that.
  11. Oh yeah, and of course:
  12. I think Howe looks a bit like a puppet. For my money, if you want a fit manager you have to go foreign:
  13. Saint Charlie is BWP. Fact.
  14. Is there Pr0n on the election thread then? I'm too nervous to look now.
  15. At least this puts to bed those ridiculous rumours about him doing it with players' birds.
  16. Took the gloss off the day at the time IMO.
  17. Apart from Pekhart, obviously.
  18. Doubt it. Agree with Derry's comments - for some reason our attacking discipline wasn't there yesterday and we took the "easy" option too often. Hopefully it was just a slip up and maybe a bit of tiredness which will be cured by a rest before the next match.
  19. Incidentally, http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?26348-Holly-Willoughby&highlight=holly+willoughby this topic has been debated before.
  20. She started modelling underwear at 17 so when are we talking about? 14? 12? 5?
  21. Sorry, didn't realise you were making that point. I agree, the squad is better than most.
  22. Because it is inevitable that three teams will be promoted each year and it is rare for three teams to have the same level of investment as us in this division.
  23. Exactly, I actually think people are giving County too much credit. They had no attacking game plan whatsoever other than "hoof it to Westcarr" and didn't really do anything other than get men behind the ball and work hard. They were an average third tier side. If we had played a bit more patiently I don't doubt we would have won but we were looking for the final ball too early which made it easier for their centre backs to deal with (albeit, on another day the ref might have helped us out a bit there). Not sure why we played so badly - maybe a bit of nerves or tension feeling the weight of expectation on the back of two good away wins. In any event, it's by no means a disaster. Is that the fourth clean sheet in a row? If we keep getting those we will win a lot more games than we draw or lose.
