  1. Cole Palmer not included is mental.
  2. Work down from there until we get to Paul Hart / Arrigo Sacchi
  3. Corberan at Valencia isn't he? Not sure we would be a good move! Frank, yes, knows the ropes and should inspire some confidence. Likewise Parker is not a bad option. Thierry Henry? Xavi (with MLT as right hand man, of course). Jorge Sampaoli. Roger Schmidt. Sean Dyche.
  4. Hodgson looked pretty up to date when we played Brizzle.
  5. For once, FOR ONCE, please can Sport Republic just get the biggest name who will take the job. The club needs stability, calmness and a bit of gravitas to reassure players and others. Basically, we need our Championship Koeman. And get a wise old head in for the DOF side. Hodgson, Warnock etc. I'm not joking. We can hipster-up in a couple of years.
  6. Very true. Their public profile is completely out of whack with their size of business and organisational competence, often.
  7. Exactly. The whole thing feels very coordinated.
  8. It's a failure to act in good faith. What they should have done was reported the Oxford evidence to the EFL sooner as they were clearly given it beforehand by the whistleblower.
  9. Agreed. I'm cool with the expulsion, but I'm absolutely not cool with: i) the way we conducted the process ii) the reinstatement of Boro, which absolutely stinks iii) Boro having not been charged with failure to act in utmost good faith, when it is clear that they haven't
  10. Wibble. Please ignore.
  11. And they happen to somehow have evidence we spied on Oxford on that very same day.
  12. Yes, sorry!
  13. It's both.
  14. "16.In relation to the OU Incident, the Respondent played OUFC on 26 December 2025 in an EFL Championship Fixture. The same individual was in the vicinity of OUFC’s training ground on 23 and 24 December 2025 and observed training sessions, sharing information and footage with the Respondent. 17. MFC were made aware of this on 7 May 2026 and, subsequently, the Respondent disclosed the incident to the EFL and admitted the breaches of the Regulations. The Respondent lost the fixture 2-1. The EFL charged the Respondent in relation to the incident on 17 May 2026." * * * We're supposed to believe that on the same day Salt'n'shake turned up, Boro had evidence that he had been at Oxford already. Clearly a stitch up.
  15. Might be the best Saintsforever post ever!
  16. No, but EFL maybe.
  17. What do you expect him to say?
  18. Pretty basic stuff!
  19. Yep, we should have made sure the process dragged out longer.
  20. Hardly. Your cheating benefits over recent decades have massively outweighed the costs.
  21. Can't see us keeping Jander. He's a £30m player and I don't think we'll be able to turn down offers like that. Leo is a funny one. Would be a hell of a gamble for a PL side and he might be too flaky at that level. If we could keep Leo, Azaz, Stewart, Matsuki, Robinson, Fellows, Bragg, Wood, Stephens, Bree, Manning/Wely we'd have something to build round. Obviously we'd need to sort GK position, add a CB, add to CM (assuming Charles and Jander off, and maybe Downes) and another striker. But with decent loans that's not massively unrealistic. Key is to get an experienced and competent management team in place ASAP.
  22. and all of this had come out after the play-offs started? WTF would they have done?!?!?

    Phil Parsons

Rupert would have said Salt is an Albanian/Afghan/Somali terrorist.
  24. I was trying to remember why he banned newspapers. Can anyone remember?
