  1. If it was PompeyMarc....
  2. Worst ITK ever!
  3. But, hang on, Nick H said that Gordon Brown had a word in their ear to ease off a bit...
  4. 100% f'sure? :vuvu:
  5. It's only the perpetually infirm and hysterical that are having any sort of effluent-related discomfort at the moment.
  6. It's ok because most of the parachute payments have spent the majority of their career playing at the highest level.
  7. Don't worry FMPR, most of those have played the majority of their career at the top level.
  8. Dave Romsey Stu knows best about everything and don't forget it. Anyone who disagrees is scared of meeting up for a pint and is a cowardly retard. Disagree? Prove it with research and/or a web link.
  9. And again! :vuvu:
  10. The old "mouthing-off, coward" routine again. It's a good one isn't it? You can trot it out in response to virtually any disagreement on an internet forum even if it makes no sense at all to do so; it really is brilliant. And no, I can't go on Google and prove you "wrong" as we don't know: a) what the ST sales are; b) what the net take from home match receipts will be this season; © what the long-term strategy is and how this fits within it. As it happens, I don't relaly disagree with you. I reckon the club could have pushed the STs more. I reckon they could have sold a few more if they'd really wanted. The difference is that I can see how they might have a sensible commercial strategy. You are in a strop because you apparently can't afford one (due to an unexpected expense, yes, we know) and so are ranting like a loon at any given opportunity. That's where we differ.
  11. No, no. All you need is the back of a fag packet, a pencil and a strong sense of self-righteous indignation.
  12. no, really!! Sort of: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8818696.stm
  13. The majority of people thinking of buying a ST or renewing won't think to look at the website? Curious theory.
  14. Well, we have no idea what their fee arrangement is. He might be on a highly contingent arrangement that actually ends up returning no profit at all.
  15. He is injured. It says so on the website.
  16. Well that's pretty conclusive. As the saner amongst us have said all along, absent a billionaire benefactor (aren't those nice! ) they cannot "get away with it".
  17. Thank you. Obviously I meant that there's no point debating because you are always correct

  19. There's no point trying to debate with View From The Top. Complete waste of time.

    Great news...

  21. I would be surprised if they don't appeal.
  22. Good moaning.
  23. Bascially, we've got a guy doing a damn good job, improving the lives of many others and getting rewarded accordingly. That is how a public service industry should operate. I would rather we had a fleet of people like the gent in the story on £200k a year (even though he isn't necessarily on that) than a load of the incompetent, uninspiring plums that we seem to have on £70k (or whatever).
  24. I hope it's not disrupted by any Thunderstorms.
