  1. That could mean administration is the fastest and most expedient answer, although it would result in a nine-point penalty and reinforce the feeling that Portsmouth, the bottom side, will be relegated. Understatement of the century from The Times there!
  2. I thought it was quite a funny joke. That doesn't preclude me from feeling extremely sorry for the man, his family and friends etc...

    SICK

I've no idea if my father ever wore a sash and I'm not sure I give a flying biscuit.

    Bring on the sash!

    Big Week

The view of 99% of Saints fans. Loving it - cheers ML!
  6. HMRC cannot set legal precedent. They are perfectly at liberty to accept any settlement they feel like. I don't think they will though
  7. It is as accurate as your 11 wins in 28 games mantra. The dicussion was about a run of form which obvioulsy doesn't include just league matches. I've had enough of this now anyway. Why I want to waste my time with this kind of crap, I have no idea.
  8. Wow - this pointless one liner, "Im a ****" style of posting is really fun.
  9. Enjoying it much! 2 defeats in 26
  10. Lilly Allen
  11. You are clearly a boring drone on a wind-up though. Very funny, well done you.
  12. There they are! lol
  13. Correct.
  14. You're right. I really must do a couple of coaching courses then I'd be able to tell Mourinho, Ancelloti, Wenger, Pardew etc to get a few more out-and-out wingers on the pitch and people would have no choice but to stand up and take notice of me.
  15. Not to play the cup-tied players yesterday would be madness when we have two cup matches coming up this week. We played a decent-ish side on an awful pitch and got a draw. Decent result. Move on please.
  16. It's funny isn't it! Next week it will be width, pace and height. The week after it will be width, pace, height and a wicked sense of humour... etc
  17. And now they're winning.
  18. In other interesting news, Wolves tried a flick-up-and-volley freekick in the style of MLT v Wdon today. Interesting!
  19. This is not true. Guarantees are commonly executed as deeds precisely to get around any arguments about them being lacking for want of consideration. There may be issues around corporate capacity and authority but, as you say, no doubt Grosvenor will have done all the necessary legals before accepting the guarantee. I'm sure it's valid even if the commercial benefit to PFC is somewhat unclear.
  20. Narrow? I take it you didn't go yesterday or are you determined to talk about width after every match come what may.
  21. God, you're boring. Do you think play-offs are realistic now? Well they're not IMO. Therefore the cups are more important. You of all people, Mr Glass-half-empty, Mr Misanthropy, Mr Monotone, Mr Greyskies, Mr Blah, blah, blah have the temerity to chastise people for "lack of ambition". PMSL.
  22. Where did I say it's "nothing to worry about"? Although, I don't think "worry" is a helpful response. I said it's not evidence that the team is going backwards and that saying it is is silly.
  23. Indeed; it's gonna take more than a paper rumour about a Saudi prince! I still think this was simply a lesson-leanring exercise for Chanrai to assess whether there was any point in making another loan. If no one looks like completing a deal tomorrow (lol), he will call the administrators on Tuesday I expect.
  24. No problem!
  25. If a few players have a bad day then why would that mean the team is "going backwards"? It's just a silly thing to say. At the end of the day it's not a bad result on an awful pitch. It's not the sort of result that will get us into the play-offs but that would be down to our poor start not the team now.
