  1. We do it regularly which is why we have averaged top 2 form for the last three quarters of the season. I can't believe there are still some people who haven't worked this out.
  2. I don't think he deserves a place in the England team on footballing merit anyway at the moment so I don't care.
  3. Well, it's just a form of receivables finance. If existing lenders already have security (which Barclays and Standard Bank presumably did) they would have been able to regulate the possibility of doing it. The alternative is to take security over all cash deposits but again, the existing lenders would have prior security over this. I think we effectively securitised our ST sales as receivables as part of the original stadium financing which was later refinanced. If we'd wanted to do a simlar thing again, we would have needed Aviva's (and possibly Barclay's) consent. I expect. Some guesswork involved!
  4. Grant and Ben Haim have eaten £1,700 worth of meat this season? PMSL
  5. In AA's cash projection to the end of the season, ST sales were £0. In other words, like with us, they will not be selling any until this is resolved IMO. So no lender would take that risk on. Further, given the existing security claims of Mr Chanrai, such a proposition might not be feasible anyway.
  6. Presumably because James is not 100% match fit and it was believed likely that we would still be able to get a lead with Wotton playing. After all, we have won several matches this year when he has played.
  7. I also blame him.
  8. Yeah, I balme him for us not winning.
  9. So kind of, "Let's get behing the team, with them not in it!" TBH, I don't think Pards needs telling that we need cover/competition for Schneiderlin and Hammond and that we don't really have it at the mo.

    Paul Wotton

Well that's thrown me... I am genuinely stumped.
  11. Yes, this is also right. It was an emotional response to a question which was pointed but fair, and then followed up by one which was bland but football.
  12. Thanks!

    Are you moaning?
  14. He was just annoyed, mostly with the ref and didn't enjoy being put on the spot about the subs. No big deal whatsoever. He didn't say anything offensive or insulting, just said it wasn't a very good question (or something like that). Nothing compared to Strachan, Ferguson (****), Mourinho etc Why not read what other people have written and then form a hyperbolic and red-faced opinion of your own?

so you think it is ok do you... or just flooding the board moaning about people moaning about people moaning..? isn't it?
  16. Yep, those are the only areas where we don't have much depth at the moment (although if Murty and Thomas were fit they would be fine at RB). Great season to be currently 5th in the table (if 10 pts not discounted) and having won a cup, given the need for a complete rebuild of the entire playing operations at the start of the season.
  17. Give them what they want and let them go off on their own if that happened. I don't see why a couple of tiny little countries like those should stop the English form having a fair parliamentary system.
  18. I think people get it, they just wish some people would grow a pair and not be whining little fannies.
  19. I don't think it was a mad substitution. Taking off Wotton and putting on a far better passer. Sounds alright to me.
  20. I agree, we should never win by a large margin as it makes bad results harder to take. I want my mum.
  21. That EI-EI-EI-O song is a sure fire sign of a tinpot club.
  22. You're one of them mate.
  23. 76 points could well be enough. It's the naysaying fans that have caused this club so much pain over recent seasons. No wonder Lowe hated them.
