I expect people left because they were bored stiff with Henderson's pathetic, dire, abysmal tactics.... might be worth a thread on its own actually....!

Can we have a tribute to the miserable old git who used to marshall the car parking at The Dell?
-
I can fully believe he would come for talks. Whether he wants to sign or not in light of other ofers he may have remains to be seen. Much may depend on our wage structure - I wonder if we are prepared to pay players good Championship level wages to join us or not? If not, it would be hard to persuade someone like Lita to join, if he does indeed have offers from clubs such as Derby.

Should be the new mascott. Big disgusting, repulsive, cartoonish Rupergimp.
-
Fluke IMO. That lot have nothing on Lowe Total Football ®.

Can someone do a photoshop of this please. Thanks.

What on earth are talking about, you oddity? How does one splash the cash (big style) in League One? No, actually you're right. Unless we sign Eto'o and Terry we should all be suspicious. Thank **** illuminati like you are observing; hawk-like. I tell you what; if we appoint Steve Wigley or Jan Poortvliet, I'll take up the suspicion mantle. You deserve a rest after all your hard work.

**** me! When you put it like that it just underlines what a bunch of idiots we've had in charge lately.

If any dunderhead still believes the enormous bottom-sausages that are posted on here by the unusual suspects then they deserve one of the same in the eye.

I would like him to have a role at the club. Some sort of mascott / fan entertainment role.

Inclined to agree. If we can sniff a good fee it might make sense. The guy seems to have problems with "kicking". "Kicking" is quite important for football IMO.

They should hand the keys over to Rupert Lowe Esq and embrace their revolutionary new future.
-
Pantaloons. That is all.

I'm going for the relief, for the celebration, for the beers with mates, for the gratitude.... hopefully for some good football. I couldn't give a flying **** what the result is. As an aside, in the past few years haven't we found that the Ted Bates Trophy opponents have tended to have a friendly against a Prem side just after and have played slightly weaker teams against us?

That's just because people on these kinds of sites repeat things verbatim as fact. Not saying it isn't true, but I would not take the proposition that, "excessive repetition of a similar form of rumour increases its likelihood of being true", as correct.

Let's be honest, the only reason you didn't mind the lass taking the **** was because she was fit.

That headline is misleading. Due diligence is finished... so what?! The fact they now want to renegotiate the price is hardly indicative of an impending completion. "We are now making a final commercial assessment with information obtained through the due diligence process," said Al Fahim's advisor Ivo Ilic Gabara. "We will then sit down and negotiate a final price based on how much both parties think the club is worth. Frankly, they could be miles apart. "A commercial assesment" - sounds like it's in the balance to me.

Just got a big mound and a messy tw @ IMO.

Has anyone considered a Gus Poyet / Patrick Colleter dream team?

Takeover Latest Gossip - Strikes Back (The Sequel)

Has anyone ascertained what this thread was supposed to be about yet? -
Nathan Tyson is a player I've seen play a few times in League One. He's a bit rough around the edges but is lightning fast and can play wide left if needed as well as up front. Didn't seem to get much of a run-out with Forest last season. They seem keen to spend a bit this summer and, as we know, have acquired a couple of forwards. I reckon we could get Tyson and I think he'd be a good signing. We don't have any players with genuine "defender-****s-their-pants" pace at the moment, apart from a couple of the nippers. It's a shame we weren't in a position to offer contracts when McGoldrick left as we might have been able to do a swap.

If you pull out of the deal "due diligence will be complete". It means nothing. This guy sounds like a bit of a bounder really. I reckon he might regret going public so early. The question is, can he withdraw gracefully or has he now shafted himself to the point where he has to complete in order to save face? I imagine he is hoping to complete but at a much lower price than Gaydamak was after.

Last season wasn't it? Against Exeter. Not that it matters.
