The point I'm making is that we have been, this season, one of the top 6 sides. Given the complete mess the club was in from top to bottom (no scouts, poor coaching, demoralised players, **** players etc) that is an excellent achievement in itself IMO. I think the turnaround has been admirably quick. We may or may not ultimately make the play-offs. I think it might depend what happend in January as I think the squad is still a bit too think in a couple of areas.

We are starting to be shorter priced to win matches (we were shorter odds than Walsall today) but Lambert and Connolly are still awesome value at 6/1 and 5/1 in these sort of fixtures.

I had money on Connolly to score first. I also had money on Saints to win 3-1!

Exactly, that's the principle. Norwich, I bracket with Leeds and Charlton though as teams I want to win every week as I don't think we will catch up with them. MK Dons, Briz, Swindon, Huddersfield, Colchester etc though we should be hoping lose, even if it means we stay behind the likes of Orient et al. If anyone still thinks we need to be looking over our shoulders after the run we've been on then they need to have a good look at themselves!! We have a chance of making the play-offs but we will need some of those play-off fringe teams to have a dip in form.

Why do some people want teams who we will be batlling with for promotion to win today so that we can be 18th rather than 19th, for example? Utterly demented and short sighted.
