It is far too high.

Wotte said we turned down offers for Surman, Lallana and Dyer.

Please do stop peddling this £25k-a-day nonsense.

The bird who does the interviews on Beeb F1 seems quite fit.

Why do they move the ****ing tissue box back to the bathroom every morning? It's ****ing retarded. If I'm in the bathroom and need some tissue I'll use the pointy bog roll. If I'm in another part of my suite, I want the ****ing tissues. Stupid.

Milan is quite boring really and shockingly expensive (well, for drinking anyway). Rome or Florence are much better bets in Italy. Barcelona. Munich. Berlin. Lisbon. Krakow. All good. Never been to Brussels. Good beer guaranteed though!

Has he signed yet?

EDIT: *Changed my mind - was a bland post. No one needed to read it.*

Maybe if they caught a dose of the VD as well from some tart on the beach that might be good?

You're not a new member of the yoof are you? Please keep away from me.

Lowe makes an even bigger mammary gland of himself...

No, but,... er.... *hot under the collar*.... but Lawrie was on the best part of a gazzilion quid a year... and er... -
Once again gives a lie to the myth peddled by some of the more demented on here that our fans are in any way to blame whatsoever for any of the ills that have befallen the club. We have good support and anyone who knows anything about football is aware of this.

How do you propose he "veto" it? When did he pander? When he loaned out Rasiak? When he loaned out Skacel? When he appointed a largely unknown and, to many, initially uninspiring manager? Your post just shows a lack of understanding and misaprehension of the facts which is common amongst people who seek to blame Crouch for this. Crouch is not very good at speaking "on his feet". Apart from that, I fail to see what he has done wrong. You could say he shouldn't have supported Wilde but frankly, he shouldn't have supported Lowe either. If you cast your mind back he was actually trying to broker a truce between the two and was roundly criticised by many for wavering in his support for Wilde. -
FFS, really? What a ****.

"Denialists"? Is that really a word? Sounds like something George Bush might say. Can we please use the phrase "a person who is in denial"? I think that is more elegant. Thank you all.

Yes, sorry, I meant "and". I've heard from a hitherto irreproachable source that there was a Masonic Lodge and a guy called Sheikh Hn'vac involved also.

Season tickets - What it the actual law stopping us selling these?
benjii replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
That's the key question IMO. If: (a) Administration was a surprise (which it seems was the case from Lowe's reaction) then why on earth weren't we selling the tickets as early as usual? Because we couldn't be arsed to think of a price structure taking possible League One into account? Because we wanted to hold out to charge more for the Champ? If so, what another shocking piece of management. (b) Administration was known to be on the cards, then the fact that it happened only a few days after the league deadline is another damning indictment. -
Probably David Beckham, Lord Lucan or Bill Gates.

Thanks!

I am presuming that Hone earned more than Hoos. That's not material to the fact that both earned less than £250k per year pro rata.

I've just posted the facts! And if you're looking for "purpose" beyond the pointless, sometimes bellicose, sometimes imbecilic, sometimes insightful, sometimes funny, sometimes vitriolic, sometimes hyperbolic, sometimes mundane twitterings of a bunch of people then you might as well close this down and give us our fivers back.

The highest paid director in 2007 (presumably Hone, not Hoos) received, including pension contributions, £226,000. In 2008, the highest paid director received £142,000, including pension contributions. Less than Rupert this year then pro rata, if he did basically work two days a week.
